Happy Birthday Album

I FINALLY got to finish Bella's Happy Birthday Album. I had gotten this album from the Scrapbook Obsessions kit Last month. I knew it would be PERFECT to do Bella's Birthday party photos in. So take a look.
I used Basic Grey Cupcake line on the album. Tim Holtz Grungeboard with Making memories paints and crystal effects over that.



I used a sticker from Carolees (Adorn it) Prima flower, doodlebug jewel and a Making Memories Jigsaw number 5 with colorbox inks to color it with. I used deco scissors to edge my photo with.

I used a reminisce birthday girl sticker, basic grey buttons, doodlebug flowers and rub ons from provocraft. I tied basic grey ribbon and some tiny rick rack over the H on the letter P. (to cover a boo boo lol)


I used a bo bunny letter b and pulled the top layer off. colored it with colorbox inks. Fancy pants chipboard hearts and jewels from hobby lobby.
love elsie epoxys, adorn it sticker, junkitz flower, all my memories little metal embellishment.


The last two pages I put the journaling on. These pages were larger so more could be done. I chose to use smaller photos so I could really show how much fun and the activities they did at the party. I used basic grey buttons and some rick rack to garnish the page.
The journaling reads "You had so much fun at your 5th birthday party. It was a beautiful day, perfect for going to the park. Your friends from school,Eva,(your very best friend) along with Grandma, Aunt Diane and Uncle David joined us for a fun filled day. You had a princess cake along with a crown pinata. I think everyone had a wonderful time. I know you did.. You were so tired, daddy had to carry a very tired princess to the car to go home."
The last page just has a few photos of miscellaneous things they did. Making memories tag, fancy pants chipboard, basic grey buttons, Adorn it sticker, and making memories tiny letter stickers (so cute!)

I wanted to put BIRTHDAY across the front some way creative but wasn't sure how to attach it. Colette a Very talented scrapper (and buddy of mine) on the Scrapbook obsessions design team had added a word to hers like this. I thought it was a brilliant idea. I did mine a little bit differently but the idea came from her so I wanted to give her the props for it. You can see Colette's GORGEOUS version of the Happy Word Book Album Here.

We had a fun filled day at the Jones residence yesterday. Bella pulled out ALLLLL her little people (groan) funny thing is... I was just getting ready to box them up to take to consignment. It is like she has "throw toys out Esp" or something.She has had these since she was about 1 year old and her collection has GROWN to substantial status. WE have a huge tote and a basket full of these things.
Her imagination has grown so much in those 5 years. She also added a few "EXTRA" toys in with the mix. I loved listening to her and playing with her with these. SOOO CUTE.
I wasnt so sure what to think of all the people being corralled in the fences and the animals outside the fence with Ninja turtle as the gate keeper. I asked her what that was all about.
She said "Don't be silly mommy, You know they havin' a dayunce (dance) Pawty (party)!!!! How silly of me to think other wise huh?

One more dr visit down....

How many left to go? geez that seems like all we have been doing. Dr's appts. I go and then come home and just fall out for days. I know that sounds crazy to alot of you but it is our life these days. Today was a big one. The Rheumatologist. (lupus dr) Really like this guy he is very nice and explains everything so good where you understand what he is saying. He said yes.. I still have it but my tests are not different from what they were. Actually its a combination of things. He feels it is MORE the Multiple Sclerosis raging war right now. We asked if he thought I was mis diagnosed back when I was dx with Lupus he said NO not MISDIAGNOSED. just in addition to... He said the lupus isn't as dominant as the MS (if that makes sense) SO that just confirmed the what hte neurologist thought and off to UAB we go. We will get his opinion of which therapy to do and then start waging our war back.
it is so hard to know what to fight when you dont know what your fighting against.
So many people don't understand all this and what peopel go through.
IT is an entire LIFE CHANGE. I had been in a remission type state for so long and got spoiled. I was able to do stuff and go places. Play with Bella and not get tired. NOT LIKE NOW. The shingles brought all this out we do believe. And boy did it. We asked if I had this also all along, why was I not dx with it sooner. But he said it takes sometimes YEARSSS to get a proper dx, some people have been waiting up to 10 years to get a dx at all. Ironically it has been 12 years since I got dx. with lupus. He said the medication that I was on for lupus could have helped and also getting pregnant. pregnancy does put people in remission. WELL THERE IS no chance of THAT happning again so We will have to leave it to modern meds haha. WHICH are beta seron Injections.
IM NOT looking forward to that but Everyone I talk to that is on it. says it is tolerable. It is what it is..and we will pull up our boot straps and fight it with all we have. I am hoping I can get to scrapping more like I had been. Side effects are wonky right now on meds but that will pass.
Im so appreciative to all who have gone through this battle with me and have put up with me. It has been difficult on all of us.
So my goal now is remission. I have been asking about diets, and exercise (which is comical right now since I can barely walk without a cane or walker) But it will get better each day as soon as we can start the injections.

SO many people are sick right now. It has really had me down. a very dear friend of mine Latonya is about to start her fight for life. I feel so weak beside her ,she is a pillar of strength and beautiful in every way. I admire her so much. We pray for her morning noon and night. Bella remembers her when we say our blessings. I hope you will pray for her too.

I know we all have our battles. I am not even comparing so don't think that. Everyone has something.
Im just glad to FINALLY know what ALL it is we are fighting against and why my body is acting the way it is. I miss being with my family (missing christmas' back home and going home for anything basically for 2 years now) and all that has been taken away. I JUST want my life back! Now maybe that will start.

IT's monday again?

Didn't we just have one of these? you know, Mondays??? Well I guess it really is a good thing to have another one. we had an eventful weekend with all the glamour and excitement of a hmmm tryin to think of a word to describe it. It was kinda blah, then scary, then mouth dropping then hysterical, then just everyone fall down and try to regroup. I would say it reminds me of a movie. Parts of it seemed to play in slow motion..

It started off kinda nothing going on typical nuther day in my life. Then I started getting this really weird feeling. Like someone came up to me and hugged me REALLY TIGHT and didn't let go. Kinda like a relative you haven't seen in a long time when your a kid that hugs too tight? (you all had one just go on and admit it!)
IT is like your ribs are pushing all your guts upward. you cant swallow breathe a deep breath.. really weird feeling. at first thought oh its asthmaish so hit the inahler.. nothing.. ok this is starting to get scary. so anyway long story short. we found out.. its this crazy thing with MS. where the bands on your spinal cord that are effected by where ever your lesions are (obviously mine were around the abdomen lungish all your center guttage department) Your muscles will just spasm and try to choke the crapp out of you.
pretty much sums it up. so that happened on and off all weekend. but AFTER we found out how to handle it, it wasnt so bad. just aggravating and kinda painful.

Bella had gone to play with Brayden for about an hour or so (see photos my bud Tara took for me) While John worked on the Air conditioner,


(cutting back limbs and cleaning the outside part THEN, when she got home. Eva Caroline was outside so She went to play with her. so SHE PLAYED all day Saturday.
John cleaned the house and helped me get a bath (yeah I bathed, on a saturday even)and get dressed.

Tara and Gregg were bringing Braydan and gonna come over for dinner, kinda impromptu, dont wear your good clothes kinda thing. Just you know have fun and kick back talk about something that doesn't involve a cartoon character. BUT, I STILL was all grungy and had been sweating having those freakish spasms. Im sure they would have thanked me if they had seen me earlier in the day.
We rounded up Bella and hosed her off. HOW she can get that dirty so fast. BUT, she had SOOOO much fun. She got to play with her two very best friends she said (Eva and Braydan) so it was "THE BEST DAY EVERRRRR"
ALSO MY FRIEND TRINA (HEY TRINA) brought me my close to my heart stamps. She is so funny I just love her. SHe has to come back and scrapbook with me sometime. SHe is so much fun and is a breath of fresh air.

John cooked some FANTABOOOLUS ribs and sausage and hamburgers and stuff on the grill.
WE had a GREAT TIME.
Bella and Braydan played some more.They did puppet shows with Bellas barbies and also a HULA show for us (OMG SHE IS GONNA KILL ME FOR SHOWING THESE) Im sooo gonna have to pay for this childs Plane tickets to be on the Dr. Phil show later in life for this.

BUT LOOK HOW FREAKIN CUTE THEY AREEEE! WE told him that boys wear those too. THE FIRE DANCERS. THen I thougth about what I said. I JUST TOLD a 5 year old. HE WAS A FIRE DANCER. NOT GOOD. SO we need to watch them around flames for a while.
Bella, That child I tell you when her head hit the pillow I think she was out cold.

Sunday we vegged. I attempted to work on this Happy album some more by bo bunny. And I keep having these blame spasms. So Im hoping today... I can do that. I so have stuff piling up over here. I have so many photos I want and need to scrap but its hard when your guts are in your throat. So HoPING today... maybe.
so that was our ohhh ahhhh weekend and NO I DIDNT change the names to protect the innocent. sorry. Ill just have to help them with therapy. (Ill bring my scrapbooks too so we can just get allll of it out of the way at one time!)

I added this after I saw that the lady that I had asked you all to pray for but I wouldn't release her name, put on her blog about her having breast cancer. So I will tell you who it is. I wanted to respect her privacy, but, knew she needed prayers. Her name is Latonya and she is an amazing Friend,scrapbooker, just overall person in general. Wahaii Greetings...

OK so she is still a little confused on a few words. We make her sound it out HA WA II and she says it. Then we say ... say Hawaii she says WAHAII. I can
t help but laugh cause it is so darn funny. Y'all know Johns BIG NANA, Aunt and some Uncles still reside in Hawaii. So Nana (John's mother) went to Hawaii to visit and sent/brought back all kinda fun stuff! Bella has been a Hula dancin' maniac. Every time I look up she has some variation of this outfit on. (don't ya just looove the Hannah Montana pj's under it?) I did't get the shot of the cowboy boots oh man that was so funny. Yup she is my child so what do you expect? A hula dancin cowgirl No less!

It was a stormy Friday here yesterday, My hands hurt so bad. I had those heat wraps on them and aspircream and anything else we could find, pain medicine didnt even help. I will be so glad when they get this figured out. THIS weeks dr appt (geez they are every week this month it seems) should shed alot of light. THEY TOOK ENOUGH BLOOD that it should! (we got the bill insert shocked face)
I didn't do any scrappin' I did make a card but it was a complete lift so I didn't even photograph it. I needed something that was pretty and I could make rather quickly for a dear friend who needed a smile and a pick me up.
She knows who she is and that im thinking of her and praying for her! So is Bella bug!

Nothing much going on just boring day by day waiting on dr's. I hope to clean up in here today and scrap (HAHHAHA) HOPEFULLY BElla will PLAY OUTSIDE since it is NOT RAINING AND PRETTY HINT HINT HINT. John said he had outside stuff to do. I said PLEEEAASEEE let her play outside while you are doing it. she has been in this house for a week sick and then it raining.. we are both ready to knock heads!
I know she will be busting at the seams for her Eva to come play hula girl with her. YES we got 2 outfits so they both have one to wear. Bella has tried them both on. she said that the green one fits the best (mmhmm they are the same size??) hahaha she is so funny.

OH OH MY GOSH. I ALMOST FORGOT man IM telling you My spongebob brain.. I forget everything these days. If I DO NOT write it down!! Im worse than that fish on finding nemo.
Treasures to scrap got a new shipment in. THE PLAIN GRUNGEBOARD is here. I know some have been waiting on the plain. you better hurry she said she had sold some already its flyin out. I know she got the new BLUE AWNING by K and CO omgosh that paper is gorgeous. Some more stickles, thickers,acryllic albums, word albums, all kinda stuff. More stuff than I can remember...OH those white pens that I LOVEEEEE, she got some of them .. WAIT LET ME GET ONE then you can have some hehe. TRACY!! I NEED ANOTHER PEN! She is going to get it all added today. she got some of it added last night but had a class so couldnt get it all done. so CHECK Out the NEW PRODUCTS button at TREASURES TO SCRAP. IT is sooo much cheaper than everywhere else!!

a page and just life stuff...

I actually did a page yesterday whooohoooo! It is another blingy page for the scrap your crap challenge.OK OK so I cheated a little bit and didnt use OLD stuff on it. BUT it is stuff I have and I JUST HADDDD to use... doesnt that count???
THis is the Basic grey Sugar line.I used the paper, the rub ons, the buttons all from that line. I used a BUNCH OF bling babeey. I used stickles. I used those cute basic grey sweet font chipboard letters. ( ANOTHER FAVORITE OF MINE YUMMMMM) I used the Bazzill paper flowers and cut them in half and layered them with a basic grey button on top with some sweet little offray ribbon in the button. Everything on the page you can get from Treasures to scrap except the wooden number 4. I got that from A Scrappin friendsy. I just love those little wooden numbers. Ms Jo always has them. I try to put something on my pages to remind me how old she is on the page. ESPECIALLY if I don't do journaling on it. I want to make sure I have it in her right album but also, it gets confusing after a while how old they are!!
The weather is all yuck today,I am becoming a human barometer also.. its freaky. When it is going to rain my hands will swell up and look awful.. IM glad it waited till later in the day to start all that mess so I could get a page done. NOW I need to work on my next challenge.Hopefully this new medicine will help me to do just that!
It feels good to scrap again.
Bella has had the most awful croaky cough. We had been giving her just Over the counter medicine and omgosh it made that child GROW horns and a tail yesterday. We literally fought with her all day long till, well even after she went to bed. I had to keep reminding myself she doesnt feel good. Bless her heart she was so pitiful. She finally stopped the croaky cough into the night.
If she has fever today SHE IS GOIN' TO THE DR, No matter what.
We did have to have the air conditioner fella come yesterday. The starter on it would just wind and wind and never start. oh man that thing needed replaceing. THey cleaned all kinda ewww out of it and even found some D batteries in there.... rofl (no couldnt have been Bella I asked he said no way she could have gotten in there where this was) IT was amazing all the stuff he did man it was purrin like a kitten last night. actually got cold and had to turn it back. He loaded it back up with freon he said that ws about gone too.
SO If you live down here and you KNOW how hot it gets.. YOu might wanna have your a/c looked at before much longer. Just a piece of advice for ya.
Well hopefully the meds will kick in soon and I can get some things done today.
This new medicine has really helped. WHERE HAS THIS STUFF BEEN. It doesnt knock me out or make me wanna drive trucks through stores or anything. It works kinda the same way the other did so we are just gonna monitor but.. hopefully wont make me wacked out nuts like that lyrica did. I know it helps alot of people and all. IT just didnt work for ME.

conversations with Bella

I have all kinda news, good news sad news and a story from Bella so hang with me for a few.
FIRST. I have a very special request. A VERY DEAR FRIEND OF MINE has just been diagnosed with Breast cancer. I would so appreciate it if you would pray for her and her family. I know she is terrified. I know she reads my blog sometimes too and I want her to know how much we love her and we are praying for her. xoxoxoxox

This part is for family that reads here.. I dunno if yall know it. but Charlies brother Paul had to have a "radical surgery" yesterday for colon cancer. He made it through fine. I did get an email from carla saying he is doing better they did find some spots on his liver that they will have to go back in and take off at a later time though.. THat sounded promising. please keep him in your prayers as well.


I got an email yesterday from SOMERSET HOME, YEAH!! They are (finally) publishing mama's christmas present it should be in their AUGUST edition. I will show you a picture of it when I get it! WHEHEW. I needed some good news. This has been a CRAPPY WEEK!!!

SO HERE IS SOME MORE GOOD NEWS this has been in the making a while also...

GO PLAY ALONG WITH US. I got to pick the challenge this week and YOU KNOW I PICKED ME SOME BLING! WE are blingin It out in a big way over there! I did a new layout for it but I tell ya.. I was so sick from the new meds they put me on IM surprised it came out looking like anything. I also gave her another blingy page I did for a better example. I Feel a little better today so I might just make another one.
I did another challenge they are gonna put up soon too .. hehehe go greta!! she rocked it! SO GO ON OVER and have fun with me as the QUEEN OF CRAP

Here is something that will I HOPE make you smile as much as it made me. Yall know I LOVE these little conversations I have with Bella bug. I havent had them as much lately but yesterday we had a golden moment bwahahahaha..We were laying down (supposed to be taking a nap) and Bella propped up on her hands laying on her belly and said. "Mommy! I need to tell you somethin'" thinking this probably will be good, I asked her what it was..
she said "once apony time.. there were three beyars (bears)"
Mommy: "when did you get a pony?'
Bella: "MOMMY! you know thats how the story goes"
Mommy: "Ok.. sorry just checking.."
Bella: "So the three little pigs had 3 houses"
Mommy: " wait a minute where are the 3 bears"
Bella: " what bears?" ::SIGHHH::
Mommy: "YOu said there were three bears"
Bella: "NUGH UGHHH they were pigs mommy DONT you knowd this story!!"
Mommy: " ok.. I was just wondering if the bears were visiting the pigs I need to get the full story here"
Bella: "YOUR NOT paying attention!!"
Mommy: "Ok sorry"
Bella: "SO ANYWAY the big bad wolf came ::very expressive face:: "and he pupped and hupped and blowed da house away"
Mommy: "why did he do that?"
Bella: "Cause he is da big bad wolf mommy, THAT is HIS JOB!!!" ::eyeroll::
Mommy: "So what is the three bears job?"
Bella: ::dropping her head down on the bead in disgust:: "What Beyars?"
Mommy: "The bears at the beginning of this story"
Bella: "YOU and DADDY said there were no beyars in nobil Adabama so I don't have to worry about beyars"
Mommy: "Thats right, you don't"
Bella: ::looks at me with total disgust:: "Im gonna go talk to daddy" ::runs off:

I think it is important to have these little conversations with Bella.. Keeps me giggling anyway.

Well... this just stinks...

I had a dr appt today.. and well the inevitable I guess is here. IM staring at a sheet of paper that says 90% proof positive it is Multiple Sclerosis. They will not start treating it until after I go to UAB for the second opinion in June. I will go back to the Rheumatologist Tuesday of next week to see what he has to say.. if I was mis diagnosed... or if Im just so dang lucky I have both.
Not a good day but.. I will get my big girl pants on in a few and deal with it.

End of the year festivities

Well it is OFFICIAL school is out for the summer. (for the little kids) All of the K groups are out. The rest I think still have 2 weeks maybe?..
Anyway they had a BIG celebration yesterday. There was a train, a water slide a jumpy thing and lots of food. OH and a BIGGGG Mud puddle. (you will see in a minute)


Bella Rode the Train round and round for most of the time she was at the party. She looked at the water slide ONE TIME and said NUGH UGH Im not gettin on there. THe water is all yucky dirty and all the kids were like ants on a mound climbing that thing. She didn't want any part of it. I kinda don't blame her.. haha



I spent alot of time looking for shade. THANK GOD for Mrs Tara and Mrs. Beth and MRS. Johnnie. THey did most of the kid chasing so I sat in shade as we could find it. I didn't get alot of photos. IT was kinda spread out. AND IT WAS HOT. It was early in the morning but still.. IT was hot. IT was over by lunch and I THINK WE ALLLL needed a nap.
We had Pizza brought in for lunch and the parents all brought some goodies to munch on as well.

THis little boy was so stinkin cute. HE had the BEST TIME rollin around and playing in that mud puddle. He laid down in it and did angels like you would do in the snow. I laughed so hard. HE was destressing after a long school year. It was really funny.
Bella and her friends loaded up for One last trip around the parking lot on the train before they had to pack it in. SHe said a tired good bye to her friends until next year.
I think they all had a VERY GOOD TIME. NOW the scrap pages will begin. I have alot to catch up on. THis has WORN ME SLAM OUT I HAVE TO TELL YOU! haha but IM glad I got to go even if it was just for a little while.

Schools OUT for SUMMMERRRR!

Yeah hard to believe isn't it? Feels like they just started 4k. It has been a CAAAARAAAZY year. ONE with alot of wonderful moments and great friends! Bella has had the best time and has had the best teacher. I have to brag on her for a minute though... is it ok? Hope so cause well... Im so proud! She won 2 awards last night at her little program and Graduation. She got STUDENT OF THE YEAR for her outstanding achievement in all subjects and in conduct! (yeah I said CONDUCT and this is MY KID!! I know your shocked. I will pause a second so you can regroup)

She also won the Reading award. All those nights fighting with her, making her read those little booklets are paying off. Phonics are so amazing. It just blows my mind what they are learning so young now.
OK so I am done bragging for now. I was so proud of her though. I tell ya I did break down crying. (Not just the medication Im on either)
I have a very special prayer request. Bella yesterday while we were getting ready for her program said "Mommy! Ethan looked up at the sky and fell down backwards. We hope he hasn't gone to be with the lord." My mouth dropped. I said "Ethan?, Ethan in your class Ethan? The one that was just at your party? ETHAN!!!" she said "Yup, He looked up at the lord and fell over!" she said "He is gonna be ok though, We prayed for him!" HOW SWEET IS THAT? Having so much faith that you KNOW he is going to be ok.. JUST cause you prayed for him. WHat a lesson I needed to learn at that moment. But, at the program they told us that Ethan was having seizures and they were on their way to Birmingham to a specialist as we spoke. The little empty chair right beside Bella just gripped my heart. I was just a crying. Matter of fact Im crying as I type this. So Please say a prayer for Ethan and his family. I can't imagine the fear his parents have right now.

Here are some photos from the program tonight... They did the cutest little poem and rendition of "NOAH'S ARK" (Bella was a cow.) They sang some songs and showed off their addition and phonics skills. HOW CUTE are they!! Jackson is NOAH. HOW CUTE ARE THEY! OH I also have a photo of her teacher with the Album I made. I was so happy that she liked it. I have worked on this book for a few weeks. I still have some pages to put in it from tonight and tomorrow. (we are having a "FUN DAY" so, YUP you will see more photos from that later tomorrow.) The lighting was bad for photos. I didn't want to turn my flash on and distract the kids, They asked us not to. SO forgive the photography but you get the general Idea. Just goes to show I need that SLR camera with the night lens hahhahahahaha... yeah I know 5 year plan.

This is her teacher she is a WONDERFUL woman. SHe has been a blessing to us this year.

Here she is opening the album I made for her. I tell you it was worth all the blood sweat and tears just to see her face when she opened it!

I have some more photos but they didnt turn out that great with the lighting and such. I tried to get each child as they were getting their little diplomas, but some didnt turn out so well. I did get several class photos for the parents that would like a copy I will be glad to email you a copy of the hi resolution photo.

Tomorrow is our Fun day and I PRAY so hard that I can make it through it. I did ok tonight was exhausted when we got home. Tomorrow... is outside. but, I have a chair and spf 50 and an umbrella (I KNOW NERDVILLE USA) but Id rather look like a nerd than be back in the hospital.

Dr appt and some photos

Sorry I haven't updated, havn't felt that great lately. When I have been up I have been working on a project so just haven't been on lately.

I DID have my Rheumatology (lupus dr) appt. yesterday. pretty much all they did was some more tests and talk to me. He said a fancy word like lupus sclerosis which is someone that has lupus and Multiple sclerosis. He said it is rare but possible. He also said I could have been misdiagnosed. But we don't know yet. He said chances are I am in a MILD lupus flare but do have MS because of the brain lesions and spinal lesions, the spinal tap results, blood tests and the muscle weakness.
He was getting all my records and would see me again in 2 weeks (Isnt that what all of them have been saying?) so pretty much we don't know anything. Just a bunch of could Be's like they all have been saying. I just want to feel somewhat normal again. I know when I got home from the dr. I went to bed got up ate supper stayed up for maybe an hour didn't even watch American Idol (yeah that is like some moral crime isn't it. I missed my dude!) went back to bed and just got up at 4 am. Probly about to go back to bed when I finish this post. SO, that tells you I have just been draggin' tired. NOT like I have done anything.

I did some Scrappin' whehew!
I got the glimmer mist in this months kit from Scrapbook Obsessions. Omgosh that stuff is sooo much fun! I sprayed it on the flowers on this layout, as well as on the chipboard letters. IT was a very cool effect. The scan didnt come out good since the layout was lumpy but.. I didnt get to go outside and photo it today.




This I got this month from Treasures to Scrap. This is the Love Elsie Claire paper, and I used the KI LACE cardstock called hearts blushing. It was very fun to work with. She has it for 1.29 a sheet where everyone else has it for 2 bucks plus!!! Yeah I like scrapping but ughmm we got bills to pay so I like to get it cheaper If I can.
Yall know I love that Basic grey font Wilma. I used stickles glitter glue to make it blingy. Yeah she sales that for $1.29 a bottle. Compared to 2.29 other places. SOoooooooooo If your looking for the Love Elsie and Ki lace papers be sure and Check out Treasures to Scrap store. She has everything Cheaper than most places!! 35% cheaper. She just got in all the Fancy pants papers too. ALso I know Animal Crackers from Making memories is on its way too. It should be here this week along with some other cool stuff! That is the CUTEST paper. Have you seen it? OH just wait it is adorable!

I LOVE LOVE this picture of Miss Bella. SHe looks just like her little mischievious self there. ALthough she did need a hair cut in a BAD WAY!!

Bella has been Playing away with her presents she got for her birthday.
She made her own Thank you cards with her new Cuttlekids diecutter that grandma got her. She was so cute making those cards.

Did you watch American Idol tonight? David Cook was rockin the joint! I loved that jacket he had on.. SaNNAZZZY! We have settled in watching Deadliest catch now. OUR OTHER FAVORITE show evah! That show is so addicting! I never though that crab fishing woudl catch my interest but it sure has!
National Scrapbook say is coming up this weekend. WHat are you plans? ARe you scrapping away at a LSS or an ONLINE store? tell me tell me I wanna know what your gonna do. I am probably gonna be glued to my scrap room finishing a special project I am working on. Bellas 4K graduation is NEXT THURSDAY (AHHHHHHHHHHHH!) SO I have got to get this finished! I will show you some highlights when IM done.

ITS A PARTY!

Bella had her birthday party yesterday at the Park. It was a beautiful day sunshiney and blue skies. A GREAT TIME I DO BELIEVE was had by all. She had 8 of her friends from school come celebrate with her. (including her best friend from across the street) She got alot of fun and nice things. NOW we are working on Thank you cards. she did get some of them made ahead of time but we have a few more to do.
As you can see.. She LOVESSS Hannah Montana. (that guitars days are numbered) We thought the headset was just that a headset that she could listen to it and no one else... ughmm NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! ITS A MICROPHONE! Dear Lord help us!
John Has already threatened that it would be an outside toy.. then that it was gonna be Guido's toy. Than that he was gonna pound it upside a tree if she didnt turn the voluem down. It was a fun evening around here.
After her party her best friend Eva Caroline from across the street (she is in the above photos as well) came over and played. They had the BEST TIME breaking in all her new presents.

WHEWEW I won a free kit!

This month with Scrapbook Obsessions. IT is their anniversary kit at that. IT is so full of stuff. THis paper is so gorgeous! I hated to cut it. They had a ton of add on's this month to go with it as well.
IF YOU WANT THIS ONE... You better hurry! IT is going like hot cakes. That prima is fine! I LOVE those flowers. In the photo it looks like its just 3 flowers ughmm NO it is 12 of those gorgeous flowers in that box they are just stacked on top of each other so its hard to notice it. I have already done 2 pages today. (that is a record for me) I didnt do really complicated pages today though I was really wanting to dive into that box!


I know it is hard to see but the word sweet is in the back ground paper, I tried to highlight it with some white chalk... you can see it better in person.
Since it is dark I had to scan these, so... they don't always look as good. But, you get the general idea. OK back to scrappin' LOVEEE this kit!!

Trust?

I love this picture of Bella. SHe looks a little nervous but you can see she is trying to understand the whole dynamics of this horse ride. It made me think of the topic I used for this page. TRUST. We are born with it.. but when do we learn NOT to trust? I know.. what a deep subject. YET one that has been on my mind. I want Bella to know TRUST. I want her to face life head on kickin' and screamin'
I want her to TRUST that life is kinda rough but TRUST that it will be ok. No matter what.
I used the scrapworks line called Formal affair. On this. Along with that snazzy little making memories journaling book. I tell ya I have enjoyed that little book so much. It really helps when your like me and can't write worth a flip, It has the little lines to kinda go by.
I used the Tim Holtz Grunge board on it since it had that westerny horsey kinda feel to it. Dont you just love that stuff!!!
I put 4 arrow photo turns in case I dont notice the 4 I put on the side and put it in the wrong album. I always put something on the page to let me know how old she is in the photo. Not sure if yall have ever noticed that or not.

The journaling reads as follows:
Sometimes, no matter how hard life seems, Even when it may be unfair. You have to dig in your heels, hang on to the saddle and just go with the ride. When it is over you may look back and see just how strong you truly are.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BELLA!!!

Today is my little bugs birthday! SHe is the big 5 years old.
She took cupcakes to school today to share with her class. she was sooo excited. Her party is going to be on Saturday but had a mini party at her school today.

She has invited everyone she sees to her party on Saturday, Including the staff at Wal-mart, everyone at her school and a few others that were probably reached by phone. She is so excited to be FIVE. She got a big ol box in the mail from Grandma that had some Hannah Montana stuff including a wig (yeah it has been hysterical to play with John looks especially groovy in it HI HONEY!!) hehehehe

I still find it hard to believe she is already five. Seems she was born yesterday. wow how time flies.
In honor of her birthday we will have her favorite meal of "bughsketti" (spaghetti) for supper tonight.
Not like we dont eat that all the time but ... Its her birthday so bughsketti it is.
I think she is gonna be celebrating for several weeks to come. This week I know she is. If we can keep her contained until Saturday we will have accomplished something.
Id like to thank her teacher for sending that blow out horn home with her too, GRRRR, hahahaha

So here is to Bella bug turning Five. I can't wait to see what this year has in store.

Spring Break

Bella had been experiencing her first spring break. SHe loudly announced to us on Sunday evening that she was gonna have the "Best spring break EVAH" so we both looked at each other and said "ok" wondering what that was supposed to mean.
I wasnt sure if she thought maybe it would be like Christmas and be this grand holiday with a parade or something. So I explained to her Spring Break just means you don't go to school next week, You will stay home with Mommy.
Daddy is taking vacation from work, so we will all be at home. SHe jumps up and does a jig... hmmm. Ok (note to self when she becomes a teenager and doesn't want to be seen with us show her this post!!)
SO anyway she has been home all week. I asked her earlier today how her "spring break" was going. Was it the best ever? she said it was pretty good. BUT, Its not over yet she reminded me.
SO I guess tomorrow better stack up to all the other days.

John got her groovy swing set put together and she has put some milage on it so far. She has been an outside lovin' kid all week.
She has been playing on this swing set since before he got it finished put together haha.
She has made sure all of her toys were introduced to it and they got to take a nap in the "club house" on the top.

SHe has helped her daddy pressure wash the house and shed, Paint the outside of the house and shed, and also picked out ALL the accessories we need for her birthday party on the 26th. SHE QUICKLY reminded me that her birthday was before then but we were just gonna have her PARTY on that day.
(as to not confuse me into not getting her an extra present) I explained to her that the big old cool ginormous swing set was her gift, she said OH. Well maybe we will just eat cake. so I think the deal is set.

I had to go on Wednesday to have my tests done. The Evoked response tests also known as "HUMAN TORTURE" and all for the nice round figure of 399.49 cents.
Im sure it cost alot more than that but oh my lord. They could definitly find out anything they had wanted to know if I had the answers with that test IM telling ya! SO needless to say that blew Wednesday for me. I tell ya I do not understand why some of these tests are like the medication... worse than what is originally wrong with you in the first place. IF something WASN'T wrong with you... there will be when they are done I promise you.
I felt really bad for the lady in the next curtain because if she was next..... she was already praying before I left out of there.
I got home and took a LOOOOOOOOONG nap. I was still nauseaus that night. I have been alternating frozen vegetables On my shoulder and arm where she tried to electricute me.
JOhn was so sweet and got me my most favorite thing ever, Uncle bucks beef and cheese with no mushrooms stromboli with the garlic sauce only he forgot the garlic sauce, I was so hungry though I didnt care, it was still good. I scarfed it down. I was about to starve.
wrong move...
sooo this morning I got up still nauseas and had muscle spasms in my arm and neck (where she shot the power of a car battery through my neck shoulder and arm). Took my medicine, Grabbed more frozen veggies out of the freezer and went back to bed.....so there went Thursday also.

IM DONE WITH TESTS THOUGH and don't have to go back to the dr till May 6th which I KNOW isnt far but does sound like a long time off. Just let my brain think that for a little longer anyway. This will be the Rheumatology appt. to decide if this is Lupus doing all this crapp or could it be MS. SO... Im at the point of WHO CARES just fix it.... exhausted tired of tests... tired of feelin like crapp..
so John and Bella have been on their own pretty much. Bella came in tonight and she was SOOOOOOOOOO dirty when she took off her clothes for bathtime, it looked like she still had clothes ON. yeah pretty dirty indeed.SHe has been outside with him step for step so I TOLD HER if I can move tomorrow we would make some cards/thank you notes for her birthday presents she has gotten so far.But if mama still feels crappy we will try our best to do them before the weekend is up. Hopefully we can get that done before the weekend is out. I am really tryin' to drive that home with her that she is to say THANK YOU and write a thank you card when she receives a gift.

I did do some scrapping on Monday I think it was it might have been saturday..I have my days so mixed up now I honestly have no clue when I made this page but it ws recently.
This is Bella and her "boy" Braydan. They are just the cutest things. They don't really have the concept of boy friend girlfriend (THANK GOD) yet but they are best friends and want to play all the time. I asked Bella if Braydan was her boy friend or just a friend that was a boy and she said MAMA isnt that THE SAME THINGG! no foolin her huh?
