Turn a charger into a memory of art...

I used the November Kit from Scrapbook Obsessions. It features the Moravia line by SEI. CAN I JUST TELL YOU looking at this line only you are missing out. YOU HAVE TO TOUCH IT. it has so much FLOCKING and FOIL it is amazing. the embossing and FLock work it beyond gorgeous. I had a hard hard time cutting this paper.

just a quickie

yes we are fine... Ida broke apart and became a Tropical storm. It is still kinda windy. Bella is Out of school till Thursday. John is having to go to work some to fix stuff. That wind damage has messed up but other than that no problems. power surges a few times lots of rain. The gulf was too cold for it to do alot. It was really freaky to have one in November. I want a news paper to put in Bellas scrap book hahaha. (hey always thinking lol.)John is gonna stop and get one. Guido and Tinker fred(isha) looked at the back yard this morning and went "tsk tsk tsk we are not responsible for thisssssssss" aLso we heard from Martin (who works with John) who lives on the beach in Pensacola they just got rain and a little wind power didn't go out. He had to go pick up his cousin in Ft Walton as it was coming ashore. He literally was driving through it so wasn't too bad. So We are happy he is ok and his family. I know our family all know who Martin is and think the world of them and would be concerned. Im just very glad this was not AUGUST. It could have been very bad lookin' at the direction and how this storm went.(I had 11 voice mails but I had slept alot the day before and yesterday I guess the barometric pressure and my joints hurting so I apologize If I have not returned all calls yet but I promise everything is fine I know it is scary when Mobile makes national News and it shows our little subarea but I promise. (MOTHER) we are fine!!!! love you all)
So thank the lord it was November.

Now back to our regularly scheduled scrapbooking.

finally

hallelujah. It got scary there for a bit.SOrry so long no post. I got your emails.I had that bad virus, then bronchitis and sinusitis. I have had no voice then squaky voice then deep voice then the scary voice then reverse start over.(I know my brother is sorry he missed that part huh bro?) Then got shingles down in my ears (still got some in there they will not go awayy!) and it got behind my ear tube things down my neck shoulders back, Fronttt, sides even on my feet so this was more like chieken pox (considered zoster/shingles) I have one on the corner out of my eye I am still watching and inside my ear that has my hearing messed up it is either too loud or I cant hear nothin'.
What is new today that is really REALLY SCARY my outer 3 fingers on my right hand we hope shingles is what has it acting funny. It is more of a strength thing it comes and goes. But hurts all time. I went to pick up the tub of butter and it splattered all over the floor, I was trying to cut out a flower with the scissors and well lets just say.. it aint purty. hope it is just those shingles healing on that nerve and not the MS. I REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY DO NOT WANT TO GO BACK ON THOSE HUGE DOSES OF STEROIDS (remember michelin man meets cabbage patch girl meets marshmallow woman?) AND I REALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLLY REALLY REALLY severely seriously really DO NOT WANT TO GO BACK IN THE HOSPITAL RIGHT NOW or ever. so Im learning to use scissors using other fingers right now and getting help but also just trying to distract. 90 percent of my life is about distraction. THAT is alot of why I go to the scrapchats and other chats well i did anyway and why I scrap well one of the reasons.

Bella has had a great time at fall festivals and Halloween and at the carnival and the field trips. I have a ton of photos I just dont have them all uploaded. I need to get them off my camera to scrap. (note t o self...up load p ictures.... ok had to write that down AGAIN)
I do have one project done for Scrapbook Obsessions. IMA GONE SHOW YOU!!!! YAY!
I feel soooooooooooooo much better. YOU HAVE NO IDEA! I just started working with the NOV KIT. I have been itching to I stayed in contact with them letting them know what was going on. Poor bosslady she had kidney stones I had .... well. EVERYTHING ELSE. we were just not fit for nothin.

THIS KIT , IT IS GORGEOUS I LOVE SEI they have always been a fav company of mine. SO MUCH that I used one of their lines to paint my scrap room after. (winnies walls) This month we have the MORAVIA line in our kit and oh my word I wish you all could just touch this paper. I had the hardest time cutting it. John kept going OWWWWWWWWWwwwwwwwwwww when I would say anything and asked Does it bleeeed? because I just would sit and run my hands over it. it feels like velvet. it is flocked paper and also some has foil inlayed on it. OMGOSH IT IS GORGEOUS! I love love love it.

Really was fun to do this. I am working on another altered project with this as I can. You dont realize how much you use those three fingers. (this just really started this morning pretty much with the butter thank god we had another tub of it and the floor needed mopping anyway) IT was just the point of the matter. I am scared to call the dr at this point you know... its what next? you know they say you start fallin apart at 40. I think it started long time ago with me. This hit ridiculous long time ago.

Shout out to my pal Becca! Thank you for happy you made me smile. Totally shocked me. I was sitting here looking at these hallmark books online like are on the commercial. And I was dreaming on their website looking at the ornaments they have some of the cutest ones that are ridiculous expensive. OmG THE DOORBELL RINGS and it was like a buzzer hit my finger telling me do not look at that. Scared me and shocked me at the same time. was kinda funny. Was the mail man bringing your happy.

ANYWAY THANK YOU GIRL! Bella said IT NEEDS BLING ON IT MAMA! I see dots on it... it needs bling hahahha. I thought ya would get a kick out of that.... I will leave you all with this Bella story:

Yall know we recently discovered that Tinkerfred is ughmmm.. how do I say this gently. TINKERFRED ISHA....but is ok... it wont matter soon enough. IT will be IT and wont matter.
so Bella is in the back yard and I hear "EWWWWWWWWWWWWW! ughhhhh! grosss! UGHHH!" She comes ruuuuuuuunnnnnin' into the house "Daddddddeeeeeeeehhhhhheeeeyyyyyyah! I AM FAREAKIN! OUwTAH (she always starts to talk like a full gospel, southern baptist, pullpit beatin'. preacher when she freaks out screamin)"TINKER FRED HAS A RATTTTTTT AND IT IS DEAD AND IT IS GROSS AND YOUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU NEED TO COME GET IT!" :: blink blink:: "OH YEAH please::blink::blink:: (cuz that is what daddys do they kill gross things that need to be dead and remove things that are dead and gross. ITS TRUEEEE LOOK IT UP!It is in the manual.

John is just screaming he is laughing so hard, her face is just ash white. He waits till after her "FAAAAREEEEAAAAKAAAUGH out " is ovah then comes and tells me. HAHAA.

We had a cold front come through today that has left me with scratchy yuck throat and weird ears. I hope it is just sinusy stuff. But I think Im gonna turn in early.
John made us some yummy warm chilly tonight was really good. Supposed to get cold down in the 40's (THAT IS COLD FOR US DOWN HERE IN MOBILE) I know alot of you all are having snow up north. We just get sand down here haha.

Tomorrow is the Fall Festival. With all this flu going around and my immune system. I won't be going. Nor to the BIG Field trip on Monday. Bella is NOT Happy. We have been having major problems and melt downs for a while now...but this week oh boy....
She had a complete melt down on Thursday. She watched a video from when she was a baby (I didn't realize she was watching it) she came running into where I was making cards at just crying her eyes out. I went down on my knees grabbing her pushing her hair back from her face looking to see what was wrong was she hurt? Injured? who did it!!! WHERE are they?!! Because those were very big tears for such a little girl. I knew something dreadful had to be going on with my sweet girl for such emotions to be flowing! "MOMMY! WHY CAN'T IT BE LIKE IT WAS AGAIN? BACK WHEN YOU WERE NOT SICK?" OH MY WORD!!a blade went through my very core and ripped my soul out. I wanted that too so very bad. Something I prayed for daily for since all this started. "OH Baby come here"
I just grabbed her and the tears just came out of me like crazy. I just held her and sobbed. THe one thing I wished I could give that child more than anything in this world. BUT the one thing I cant give her.... A cure for Multiple Sclerosis. It is so hard on our babies. The things that disease takes away. They don't understand and it is so difficult for them to understand that going out into the public can cause great harm and our regime we have to follow is very important. Can make me very sick. She is very protective.

we have had these shingles and staph infections so many times. But to look into that sweet face and hear those words and see those tears. is more than a mother can bear sometimes. So If you would tomorrow and this weekend and Monday. Say a little prayer for my baby girl. and when my kids mom isn't there . DON'T JUDGE and don't hate.. I know this mother would give everything in this world to be at every single function on the front row center watching her baby girl have the time of her life.
It IS the little things in life that are so precious that so many take for granted!

CARDS FOR THE FALL FESTIVAL

I used The October Kit which was chunked full of October Afternoon Goodness (Which was perfect by the way) to do a set of cards for the Fall festival at Bella's school this weekend.(that I won't get to go to boo hoo) HOW CUTEEEE are these little animals? I thought they might would bring a pretty penny for the school in the country store. We have a booth every year with Handmade crafts and such. I will have a bunch of Cards in there (one of a kind no two are alike since they are all made from scraps) I am not a GREAT card maker...ok a good card maker for that much. Kinda like in singing make a joyful noise? I THINK I do better at altered art and Scrapbook pages but I know a lot of people really like cards. I LOVE GIVING THEM and ALSO LOVE getting them. So I have been pulling some all nighters working on them.

The first one. Is a sketch from my buddy Di Hickman. Ya she rocks like that. Check out her blog.(Tell her HI FOR me! That I sent ya Ovah!) She has really cool card sketches on there! She is really cool and is a fitness freak too. Be careful she will make you do like jog in place while you read.. ok maybe not but you will want to after talking to her and listening to her fitness routine.(Her abs are amazingggg though!) She makes me tired just listening to her. hehe.

12 months of October Afternoon!!!

I fell absolutely in love with this kit from www.Scrapbookobsessions.com! I LOVEEEE this OCTOBER AFTERNOON PAPER! IT is adorably cuttteee! The little animals are so precious. YOU can do SO MUCH with it. IT has also got fruit and flowers and fall things You can switch sides and make it spring summery.. It is so versatile. I MADE AN ENTIRE CALENDAR WITH IT!!!! CHECK IT OUT!

John had cut out these blocks of wood for me when I was doing all these mini albums at Christmas one
year. I thought THIS would be PERFECT to do a little calendar with. :blink:.
I ran out of the twine when I was tying them together though, so it took me a little longer to get this project made.
because I had to order some more lol but FINALLLYYY here it is: I added extra photos of it hanging
in my foyer and laying outside so you might can see it. It is hard to photograph....









I used Making Memories edge distresser on the October Afternoon Papers Inked the edges with
colorbox Inks. Favorite Findings buttons The Prima flower from the kit I used Glimmer mist
Iridescent Gold then highlighted with the colorbox inks on the Jeni Bowlin Calendar.
I cut out the little Pig to peek out of the flower,

Feb:
I used Vintage pink Glimmer mist Queen and company felt border, Making memories paper clip
creative imaginations twill, Making memories edge distresser colorbox fluid ink chalks I cut the sheep out and
pop dotted them onto the page.




March I took Green heart bling and put them together to make clover. I used some
old stickers cutting them out used the word "lucky" sentiment across the top.
I used one of the strings in the cord of rope to make the stem of my shamrock clover and used
a green marker on it.
I added Happy St Patricks Day ribbon across the bottom since that is one of the things March is
Known for.
I also used Iridescent Gold glimmer mist on this page to represent the pot of Gold your supposed to get if you
catch that leprechaun.


April:
I used vintage pink Glimmer mist I also used Crystal stickles on all of the polka dots to represent Rain drops. also lightly
on the flower.

I cut that little duck out (about 4 times since my neighbor kept making me decapitate the chicken... since he was using his skill saw and scaring me to pieces)

I distressed the paper with the glimmer mist ruffed the edges with the edge distressed inked it added the rain drops, used the MME Buttons that were an add on this month* Inked the Jeni Bowlin calendar And added the little duck.




I used The Threading water punch on this one to make a little border in the center. Inked the edges of it. hand cut those little flowers
I cut down the little alphas that were in our kit this month and over lapped them to make them whimsical.
I used the Iridescent gold glimmer mist. wrinkled up my calendar for a shabby chic look. inked the edges and distress edged it with the MM edger. I pop dotted some of the flowers. (I meant to put bling on the centers of the flowers and just realized I missed that sorry)

June I used a piece of burlap that i pulled loosely i inked my OA paper heavily for contrast I put some ribbon through
the Jenni Bowlin button. used Creme De Chocolate Glimmer mist VERY LIGHTLY then rubbed it with my finger off the calendar to the edges.
then inked the edges of the calendar with my colorbox fluid ink chalks. I cut out the cow and pop dotted him on there


***** ALL THE EDGES OF THE WOOD HAVE BEEN INKED HEAVILY.


THEN YOU TURN THE PROJECT OVERRRRRRRRRRR~~~~~~>>>> TO THE BACK ..... YEAH ITS REVERSIBLE





Celebrate the 4th of July with the loud crowing rooster... I used Queen and company stars and accented it with Crystal Stickles , Stars and stripes ribbon held with staples, iridescent gold Glimmer mist on the calendar and inked the edges with colorbox fluid ink chalks.

I cut the sheep and the apple out of the papers and used the October Afternoon stickers.

October Afternoon

I love these papers by October Afternoon. I have been knee deep in this kit this month. I am loving all of the little farm animals and cannot get enough of them.
I apologize in advance for these photos. I have tried to get better photos and there is a glare every way I have tried. SO, I took more than one so You can see it for all of its worth It is on the BLING by Bazzill Cardstock See the sheen on the back ground paper. LOVEEEE THAT! ALso the Bazzill Just the edge I added all that sparkly to it. I will show ya!

First: I inked the edges with Color box fluid ink chalks in chestnut roan (one of my most favorite of all time colors I cant live without this Those and the Tim Holtz Distress inks do not leave my side)

THEN: I went over with Ranger Stickles in Tangerine. IT IS ALOT easier to ink it FIRST PRIOR to Stickling or GLittering.. Just a tip there for ya.

HAPPY WORLD CARD MAKING DAY!!

HEY YALL!! IS everyone making cards for WORLD CARD MAKING DAY? DO YOU HAVE A BIG STACK FORMING? ARE YOU AT A CROP? IN YOUR PJ'S WATCHING MOVIES WHILE YOU SCRAP? WHATS THE SCOOP? WHATS THE STORY? let me know... Inquiring minds haha! I thought I would add this to give you some more inspiration!
Here is a tutorial I did for Scrapbook Obsessions a while back. This was originally taught to me by a friend of mine at our local scrapbook store. I have kinda put a few variations on it and made it my own (actually I forgot some of the steps she showed) but it is pretty much the same thing. (THANK YOU STEF YOU ROCK!) It is really fun to get your children involved in also! They love making cards! It is fun to see what they come up with. Bella loves to make her teacher cards. (HOW SWEET IS THAT?)
I always need ideas for a quick gift to give teachers, friends or family. This has been a life saver gift for me on many occasions! SO come on lets have some fun!!
Its not hard, so get you some supplies and join in.

I have broken it down in easy easy steps, so even a beginner can play along! It is very inexpensive to make also. You can buy packs of these 6 x 6 page protectors at Hobby Lobby and there are about 10 in a pack.) really inexpensive (under 5 dollars and they go on sale cheaper than that) I am always making cards with leftovers. So this is another one of those inexpensive projects! SCORE! (Mostly leftovers from various kits)


I used Patterned paper from Fancy pants
card stock
rub ons
chipboard shapes
buttons
stickers
color box fluid ink chalks

1) 6 x 6 page protector




take a 6x6 page protector and cut the part that you put into the album off just after the seam.


Cut a piece of double sided paper to 8 1/2 x 5 1/2.


Round one end, you can use a dinner plate or a bowl and trace around the edge of it then cut. Ink the edges


SCORE at 2 and 1/2 and at 3 inches from the rounded edge.



slide down inside the page protector. Place a velcro sticky on the rounded edge of card stock and one on the matching side of the page protector to hold it closed.
You can decorate with a piece of Fiber or twill (cute little frilly ball hangy fiber as I have here) Jewels, buttons etc.

To go around the edge.


THEN make 4 general occasion cards.

World Card Making Day

The Scrapbooking/Stamping/crafting/papercrafting/cardmaking (did I cover it all?) Industry is all abuzz with news Of WORLD CARD MAKING DAY tomorrow.
In respect of this I put together 2 simple little cards using some of the scraps I had left from last months Spread Your Wings kit from WWW.SCRAPBOOKOBSESSIONS.COM These are really simple simple non complicated cards that any skill level could make.



That is what I like about making cards. It is a fun sentiment to give to someone. They enjoy it and I enjoy giving it to them to brighten their day.

This card didn't take that long to make. I will be making a ton more cards to donate to the Fall Festival at Bella's School. This is one of their BIGGEST fund raisers. All of the proceeds go to keeping the costs down so these children get the best education they can.
IF you could see the things these children are doing you would be amazed. It just has me in awe. Just love that we are apart of this place. :)IT blesses the parents as well as the children.

update and IMPORTANT NEWS

So I have not updated my blog lately, sorry blog. I have just been chillin, Scrappin, and relaxin. The shingles love me and IM not talkin' bout the kind on the roof. I take so much valtrex my dr writes in bigggg letters on my scripts SHE HAS SHINGLESSSSSSSSSSS. (cuz you knowwwwwwww the pharmacist look at us funny when we get those scripts filled) I wanna say NOOOO I DONT HAVE what the commecials say this is FOR!!!! but I REFRAIN.
Someone sent me a link to DOOCE's blog where she did a video where she had shingles recently and she says shingles with "spirit fingers." she does it in a rather scary way. Totally cracked me up to tears.
I get them where I have them on one side, Then they go to the other side. THat is what has happened. NOW they are on the OTHER side. Lucky me. so I can't turn to the left too well. Oh well complaining is not making it better.

It has been crazy. Bella has been having homework like crazy It is wild the things she is doing and only in first grade. She is using words that just amaze me. I keep saying I am going to have to go back to college just to help her with her homework.

A new gadget has entered my mind and I have not been able to sleep. HERE
It is so far out of our budget that I need to just get it out of my head. It would be nice. Kinda like the LAPTOP for scrapbooking. I sat up one night trying to win one. As much as Im in the bed it would be nice. but 300 bucks??? COME ONNN! IT will take all your cricut cartridges and put them in one place and you can draw with it and link them together. It is the size of a video tape. When your finished you just plug it in and print. OMG it is the coolest thing I have ever seen. well next to laptop computers and sliced bread. but omgosh this thing rocks. since I am in the bed so much and have to be in dr offices so much I thought it would be awesome to be able to design with. Then get home print out... but..
I figure the price HAS GOT to come down. I just cannot SEE 300 dollars for this thing omgosh. BUT THEY SOLD OUT OF THEM ON HSN IN 24 hours :O are you kidding me?

This is a very courageous thing for her to do I am so proud of Merry. I am going to keep posting about this and hopefully she will SURPASS her goal and raise this money for the MS FOUNDATION. WE need all the research we can get.
I know personally that I wanna be able to see Bella bug grow up,and become the woman I know that she will. I want to be a really old lady. Like old old. METHUSELAH old.
I did a page about our experience with MS for the point blank challenge that you can see on this blog post It is not fun for the millions out there that have to deal with this crapp. I am blessed to have a supportive husband to help take care of me. There are so many out there that do not have this. I know that I am blessed even though we have this awful disease in our life. It could always be worse.

LOTS to catch up on!

OK so I know I haven't updated sorry, been working on a layout and its been driving me mad!! I got these rub ons out of my scrap booking stash. They were not expensive. I will not put here the name brand but It is not an expensive one and NO THEY DON'T smell like pop corn. YA. My bud Jing Jing that I am on the Scrapbook Obsession's Design Team came up with that theory. (AND IT IS SOOOOOO TRUE!!!) She had figured out that when rub ons ( for just example the Jenni Bowlin ones the little ones and the Cosmo Cricket ones) are really good rub ons, They smell like popcorn!!! SERIOUSLY!

Well I wanted to do this layout with a countdown in the swirliess on the side... yeah.. ::SIGH:: I was going to have them fading down the swirls like they were time fading off in a "Alice in Wonderland" kinda mesmerizing way,,, well THAT DIDNT HAPPEN ! IT was good in "THEORY"

I actually did a layout before, that I wrote tiny "The Night Before Christmas story" all around the flourishes and That is what gave me the idea
so I lifted myself, so to speak HERE IT IS.. see the tiny writing? That was her Cinderella doll she got from Grandma that year. she was so happy. Her first BARBIE. (the big head barbie cinderella.)
So that is what I was "TRYING" TO SORTA DO

OK SO BACK TO THE OFFENDING RUB ONS...

(THAT DIDN'T SMELL LIKE POPCORN) I had to rub and rub and rub. my hands were cramping!! OH! but they were soooo perfect for this page!!! Well, so I THOUGHT! grrrr, They tore off the top layers of my papers and made a mess of things. I was so upset.
So what was I to do? I was just upset. I summonsed my facebook pals and twitter audience my brain was just stalled HELP HELP! SCRAPPER DOWN SCRAPPER DOWN! 911 RUB ON DAMAGE DETECTED CALL FOR BACK UP! SEND IN THE REINFORCEMENTS!! well here they came with all these ideas and solutions (who knew!) THANKS YALL!!

Lately I have had just my cup running over with stress and so tired of being sick we have had some deaths in my inner network of friends and family so I just have been at this point in life where you want to stand on that mountain and SCREAM I HAVE HAD ENOUGH I CANT TAKE ANYMOREEEEEEEEEEE!!!
Ya so I have just stepped away from everything and have just been scrap booking a lot and attending these scrap booking video chats and forum board things. Well through twitter and through facebook, I have met some really fun and cool people that have taught me SOOOOO MUCH.
(REMOVABLE TAPE??? I had no idea)
and I had totally forgotten about my highly coveted item UNDU!!!
Can you EVEN FIND THIS STUFF ANYMORE? I Need a 5 gallon bucket of it!
Just a tiny droplet of it and omgosh the offending (NON POPCORN SMELLING) rub on was gone!! JUST LIKE THAT!! The pieces of the paper that were missing.. eeehhh not so much.
BUT, I could cover that up and voila' THE PAGE WAS SAVED!

It was hard to photograph this page with all the sparkly on it.
I used AMERICAN CRAFTS pp, Doodlebug sugared cardstock, LOTSSSSSSSSS of stickles, Maya road stars and the little swooshy things (nike swooshes) basic grey alphas, versa mark inks, Heidi swapp flowers, all kinda buttons, Bazzill just the edge dotted, Heidi swapp chipboard clock, Hobby lobby bling, off ray eyelash sparkly fibers.. I needed lots of bling for this to say NEW YEARSSS.

HOLY WOW my Mother in love ROCKS.

OK so the door bell rang and I knew I was getting something from my Mother in Love but HAD NOW EARTHLY IDEA IT WAS CHRISTMAS. HOLY WOW. BEJESHSHHSHS!I have had a really rough last few weeks and to say this was a ughmmm pick me up OMWORDDDDD.
Leave it to my mother in lowe I tell you. SHe knows I have had so much happening and My Dr's fussing at me to GET MY STRESS DOWN! Well what does that? SCRAPBOOKING. haha


I had her on this mission. I have been wanting this particular Martha Stewart Punch That I really liked. I had her, My mom, My s.i.l. everyone on the look out. I am unable to get out shopping and I KNOWWW I can order offline but I know they are out and about so thought if they found a good deal grab it... (everyone keeps saying OH we found it here and it was so and so much cheaper than it was online for x amount plus shipping see what I mean?)

SO ANYWAY.. I emailed a photo of said punches its a 2 set and put them on the grand hunt. Well of course because we are in the south THEY HAVE NOT ARRIVED here yet.

Ya there was ribbon and chipboard and a mini album and all sorts of stuff in there I just am sitting here in awe. YA speechless IF YOU CAN BELIEVE IT!! YA MEEEEE SPEECHLESS! I just am staring at all this I want to touch it and roll around in it.


ITS ALL SOOO BEAUTIFUL. I KNOW yall think Im nuts I KNOW YOU DO. yall just dont understand. Im just in awe.
That she could do something this sweet and this wonderful FOR MEEEEEE! I love this woman so much.
OH AND SHE BEST NOT be gettin' nothing else for Christmas cuz OMG!(I know how she is) I can't think about how much is in this box! OFF to make her something totally incredible!!!

I did this layout real quick today. This is with the SCRAPBOOK OBSESSIONS SEPTEMBER KIT where I am on the DESIGN TEAM. LOVE THE 3 Bugs In A Rug spread your wings collection. so perfect for all these kitty pictures I have of Bella and Tinker~Fred.



My paper trimmer kept getting hung up when I was cutting my cardstock. I guess it is getting time to switch out.
Oh well. It was fun Scrapbooking a messy face little girl trying to catch that cat hahahaha. Poor thing. (you decide which one the poor thing is for Bella or Tinker~Fred) I hope you have a great Weekend!)

Ahhh Reminiscing the good old days

Watching Paula Dean cook good ol country style veggies and watching people garden makes me home sick. I know to some this just sounds BIZARRE. IF you saw how we grew up you would probably slap me right now and say GIRL RUN! You have it better. But sometimes looking back you wonder.

The innocence today of Bella being SOOOOO upset when she came home with an ICE CREAM STICKY BOOK BAG. (she insisted on saving her ice cream she got at lunch for her afternoon break and stuck it in her book bag. ( yeah I had to sneak off to the back and laugh so she wouldn't see me) WHAT? I comforted her. I held her so tight while she shed the great big crocodile tears. I KNOW HOW tenderhearted this child is. We rescued what we could of what was left but, she learned her lesson. Bless its heart. I felt so bad. but That was funny. This kid brings me so much joy. Totally cracks me up!

We had some ice cream in the freezer but "it just not that same mama" SO I will have to send daddy to the store if she will do really good studying today. That face it was just so pitiful. I felt so bad for her.

I thought we talked about Ice and melting.. and Alabama and heat... she musta missed that conversation too somewhere along with Tinker~Fred and girls not liking tomatoes or soemthing.

point blank challenge

I completed this layout for a challenge at the Pointe Blank Period challenge blog.

We were supposed to Journal about what we feel holds us back from being a better person in life. use a black and white photo Use a dominant bright color with a splash of blue.

I have been working on this since The debut of the blog. Has taken me this long to get it all down. I keep walkin' by this page and changin something or moving it around. I know Im horrible that way.

This page has a lot of symbolism on it I guess because it represents so much about me. A lot about what our family has gone through in the last several years.



The cardboard represents the Myelin shaft which in (ms patients) is deteriorated.
I used Tattered ANGELS spray which I COVERED the entire layout with Like My friends and family COVER ME and MY FAMILY with prayer.
I have THE BEE on here because BEE venom was used for long time in MS THERAPY.
I have FAITH The lord is gonna watch
over me He wouldn't have given me Bella without letting me stay to raise this child. My journaling is withered and worn kinda like me and my spine (the cardboard) Every day I struggle to stay out of that chair so I put that at the top of the picture. The reality is my legs feel like pins and bees are stinging them and I have to take those shots so I put the pins through the flowers and used the reality on top of the flower 3 flowers 3 buttons 3 a lot because of the holy trinity.

3 meaning me john and bella will get through this. orange is my power color and blue is calming.

Pink makes me feel pretty and Im just not pretty anymore. an arrow pointing to I do not look the same.

The Journaling reads:

I cover up a lot of the pain with a joke,
to make others more comfortable. I make
fun of my self more than anyone. I know
because of this disease I have lost a lot
of opportunity along the Way. A lot of it
long before I even knew the name of what
was causing my problems. My Dr says that a
lesion doesn’t become that size on your brain
stem over night. I have been mis diagnosed
for a long time. I get really angry because
now the medications I have to take are a lot
stronger and they make me very sick but they have
saved my life and have kept me here.
It is a love hate drug. The shingles and staph
come with it sometimes are worse.

I Do not look the same.
I don’t recognize me anymore. My brain sometimes
won’t function. Hey, we have to play charades (first
Word, sounds like… to make a sentence.)

A lot of the
dreams that I worked for, pretty much went away.
So heck yes I get angry. I get angry at myself and at this
disease! A LOT! BUT I TRY to NOT LET it hold me back.
I try to KICK ITS BUTT. I Channel my anger other ways.
Some days if it were not for my computer, or scrap booking I wouldn’t have an outlet or connection with the outside world for any of my energy. Yes there are times when I am doing better and can leave this chair behind. But on days like these I remember why I want my memories down, those little “instructions” in life one never knows what tomorrow brings.

I am blessed with an amazing loving hunk husband a gorgeous and smart funny daughter and if you try to argue I will run you down with my wheel chair so don't even try.
Today I fight to stay out of this chair. Why?
I have a lot to fight for. I see it with these two here in front of me every single day.

This photo was taken this past year at the fall festival. I have come along way since then. Still got a longggg way to go. Thank goodness for Garrrrry my physical therapist (that I cursed so bad for the longest) and my friends that helped me through the hard times. Also my sweet loving husband that has been here through it all. That I love dearly. He never signed on for all this. The look of disbelief when they said this is what I had was on both of our faces. We had no clue what we were in store for. Thank you all for your continued prayers. Yall know me. This is nothin I can't handle smiling :) COULD ALWAYSSS BE WORSE!!!
