December Daily 2021

Today I have been getting things ready for my December Daily. This will be the first year I have made one. I have been doing a lot of research and following along on Groups on Facebook and watching youtube videos and checking out pinterst and have saved so many ideas! Im all excited. I decided to make my own album, a 6x 8 album that will be held together with circle clips. I have made my cover and back page already and cut out some pages but I havent decorated them.

I didn't go real fancy but its hard to tell the santa is all glittery. and I love glittery pictures and paper! I covered the inside of my cover and used it for MY REASON WHY page.

The next page is a half page that was left over when I cut my 6x 8 pages. I covered it with fall paper since the first pages in my book will be Thanksgiving pages. I made a THankful page and the back is journaling.

I will remove the extra L. typo on my part the next page is the Journaling for Thankful with the things I am Thankful for.

Thats all I have so far. I spent the day going through my Christmas embellishments, seeing what was usable for DD (December Daily.) I also went through my fall embellishments for my fall pages I will be doing. Im also going to be doing New Years, I went through some regular daily life embellishments that may work for it also. I gathered all my alpha and number stickers and chipboard. I put them all in an iris case. Its full. with just miscellaneous stuff. Ive found that I need more washi tape (general and christmas) Number stickers, Alpha stickers fibers and ribbon, (just enough to make something to hang off my album.) Journaling pages, date stickers, clear acetate, general christmas embellies. I really want the big numbers that are on ali edwards (I think) site. it could have been somewhere else. some large number stamps would work too. So what have you done on your December Daily so far? Have you gotten your stuff organized? Purchased some things? What are your favorite places to purchase DD things? what are your favorite DD sites to get inspiration? DO you have a person you like to follow on You tube? ive been searching.. Ive been watching Hallmark Christmas movies on my laptop and doing this today. I really enjoyed it. Next page starts when we put up our Thanksgiving Decorations. I will post my next pages then.

Meet Ginger

Hey yall! We did a thing.. we got a puppy! she is a minature Austrailian Shepherd. Her name is Ginger. She is so sweet. but. she will get after you too! Just what I wanted. she is not going to be a greaaaaaaaat big dog but she will be bigger than the ones we have had in recent years. BEFORE anyone starts in with the its too soon to get a puppy Charley just died. well I could say Mind your business. BUT. I will say I was torn up so sad and just not functioning. I was bad depressed and so was our other dog (a minature pomeranian) Lala. She was sleeping all the time and barely eating. She was confused and looking for him. which made me cry harder. I was miserable. So this dog kinda fell into our lap and it is a great dog for us. (If we can make it through the puppy stage) she and lala get along great and lala needed another dog with her bad. I needed another dog that I could train like I did charley with my MS needs. she is great for that SO SMART!

she is really shy and skittish at first but when she gets to know you! ITS PLAYTIME our living room looks like a dog store threw up. all the chew toys and big beds.

Ginger has bowed down to Lala, the queen but really just wants to play with her. she takes her toys to herone by one, she groans at her, she lays down in front of her bed, begging her to play. she wont play. so John and I play.we are too old for this hahahahahaha but its so much fun. Bella was home this end of the week and really played with her. she loved it.

she loves the outside. she goes in and out all day, would rather be outside than inside. but hasnt quite made the connection with using the bathroom outside yet. she will play outside a long time then come inside and use the bathroom on the floor on the pee pads. (glad she uses the pads but she misses often)

she is bringing us Joy and happiness from such a sad place we were when charley passed.she already has associated that she gets treats when I take my meds so I need to take my meds when it gets dark (we are still working on that) Lala is just up for a treat wheneever she doesnt have any set time. When we had charley he would bark at me at 9:30 then at 10 if I hadnt gotten up and taken it. so I would give him his treat and he could go to bed. I was late some nights and he would be sitting in front of the counter where my meds are like FORGETTING SOMETHING??? so im working on that with GInger for her to remind me. PS: she is not crazy about carrots but will eat them because lala eats them hahaha how funny is that!

Ginger has stolen our hearts and won us over with her charm and sweet demeanor. she likes to run laps around the back yard we call it the zoomies. Lala lays on the patio watching her go like a nascar race vrrrrrooooooom there she goes vrrrrrrooooommmmm here she comes. they are very funny. Bella took a lot of good photos of them some of these are Bellas photos she took and she took more that i will get today. YOu will be seeing more of Ginger in my posts on facebook and my scrapbooking soon! have a nice day!
