Today was the day. Hard to believe but yup. she is officially 6 years old.
We took cupcakes and little goody bags to her school and went out on the playground and had her a small party. She said this would be ok instead of having a big birthday party at some fancy kid place that was over priced. Instead we are going to fix her room up into a big girl room (she wants it done like the girl on princess diaries (like a princess would have a room EEEEK) since you know, she is a princess and all lolololol

I think they all enjoyed the little party. They had cupcakes and sang and had their goody bags and played on the play ground for a few minutes.


THEN tonight, We had her a cake with supper and our friends/neighbors that we consider family David and Diane came over.

We made cilantro dip also (ya got some indigestion in a bowl is what i should call it ughhh killin me right now) but man it is sooooo goooooood! David liked it too!
Now Bella is one TIRED LITTLE GIRL (so is her mama and daddy!
It was a very fun day. Bella was anxious to spend some of her gift card and moneys so John took her with him he had to go to wal mart to get the stuff to make cilantro dip. SO she wanted Mario Party SOOOOO bad. SO we let her get that and we paid the difference. so SHE IS A VERY happy little birthday girl tonight.

OH YEAH she did get alot of phone calls and messages too but she is wiped out. She will return phone calls tomorrow. she is a tuckered little birthday girl.

Ya know Bella got all that play make up for Christmas? she is a big time girly girl and loves to play in the make up. has since she was tiny. I cant turn my head for a second and she is in it. Her grand ma's have always put lipstick on her lips when they put it on themselves. They play beauty shop with her and she got this doll head for christmas. Well what this creation was Im not sure. (I think she was tryin to say it looked like mommy when she had shingles rofl!)




I learned a nice tip yesterday. If you can't get lipstick out of your kids clothes and you have already tried shout, (NO I DONT MEAN SCREAMING AND YELLING AT THE SAID CHILD THAT PUT THE LIPSTICK ON THE OUTFIT IM TALKIN BOUT THE STAIN REMOVER SHOUT)
If you have lancome eye make up remover.. that will work too. YOU DON't wanna know how I know. JUST TRUST ME ON THIS ONE BLOG READERS. TRUST ME.

I learned that DOVE soap and water and a 5 almost 6 year olds elbow grease will take a thick glue stick coating off of an Easter Basket when stuck to a Fireplace hearth. (as well as said child)

I Also Learned that when you THINK you have thrown away all of the lipstick because you were so mad that they wiped lipstick on a brand new outfit there will alwwwwwwways be ONEEEEEEEEE MOREEEEEEEEE somewhere!!!

I Also learned that a five almost six year old always knows where that lipstick is, and is very reluctant to give it up too.

I Also learned that (when asleep) I have the sweetest little girl in the entire world. Her smile melts my heart especially right now when she is trying to give me directions to the livin' room and she is telling me to
"Take ten steps South-North to the East at the Left stop sign! BUT ACTUALLY ITS TO THE RIGHT MOMMY! so just go there! Because we are gonna be DANCIN' WITH THE STARSSSSSSS!"
"OH! and Yall on mommy blog are alllll invited! SOOOO Bring a umbrella and sparkly shoes!"

Man it has been one of those weeks. SPRING BREAK. YA. The natives are getting restless. I was ready to make Bella run laps around the house yesterday.

I can remember my Daddy sayin You makin me so *&^* mad my Eye is twitchin' He got that from my grandmother<~~~~~~ his mother that is (minus the curse word) She used to baby sit kids in her home. She baby sat me alot matter of fact I spent most of my childhood after school at her house. We spent the night down there and stayed down there alot.
Her eyes twitched alot as I remember. I just thought she was winking at me.
Daddy used to wink alot too. I realise now why.
I have had an eye twitchin week. But yesterday was the topper! I didn't feel good. Got up at 4 am sick. Had dr appt to boot. Bella was suposed to go with our good friends to a photo shoot (they do Weddings and do an amazing job) <~~~ SHAMELESS ADVERTISEMENT!! she was going to feed the ducks. The shoot was at the park. I didn't want her to look like a ragamuffin so I dressed her in a new cute outfit. But back up Im getting ahead of myself. rewind.
John had to go on a call of course. How do single mothers do this?
Makes me wonder what Octomom is thinking.
THIS ONE KID Of mine gets into more crapp. what is she gonna do with all them youngens?
IM thinking back when Bella was about 18 months and I was going through a store that will remain nameless. I had her in the buggy part of the shopping cart. She pulled my purse over to the side (I had it in the seat)SHe found these really interesting things to play with. I was doing my shopping she was playing with her toys (I THOUGHT the ones that I had given her to play with) I look down and see this wrapper and think that is odd why is that thing there eww. I look back and there one is.. I look around and this lady is snickering. Im thinking what is so funny. so I go to my buggy and look atmy child playing happily. She has my "personal hygeine purse" out and was using these new "toys" like little "rockets" shooting them out of the buggy into the air watching them fly. AS IF TO SAY HOW COOL WAS THAT MOMMY WATCH.
OMGOSH the embarassment! I could have crawled under something. so I had to back track the store and find where they all went. Now this lady was rolling in hysterics. I gave her this glare like OH YA WHO ARE YOU TO JUDGE! You could have said something!!! (dont people like that just tick you off?)
SO I go through the store and find them all (I HOPEED) and leave the store. My parents put the curse on me because Im sure I was this way as a child. BUT... I FIGURE that THEY MUST HAVE BEEN SOME KINDA HORRIBLE TOOOO because it always trickles down.
I have heard stories on my father. He was very mischievious. just like my Bella. I am already making plans now for her teenage years. We are getting barbwire for outside her windows and we do have a friend that works for homeland security and has offered their services. We might just take them up on it.

Our Sweet Carol

I scrapped another layout. This one is dear to my heart and done for a sweet special person Our sweet Carol. We were honored to have her and her hubby Norman, join us for Easter this past weekend. They came bearing the most wonderful strawberry shortcake ever Bella ate 3 bowls that day the little stinker As you can see Bella loves her just a wee bit!
I used the May kit from Scrapbook Obsessions. This Basic Grey Porcelain paper all I can say is YUMM! It is PERFECT for spring photos, so many things going on right now with Easter and spring things blooming I just have so many ideas going on I want to do with this paper. I already have another layout on my table in the works and photos printed for something else so.. ya. OH OH AND DON'T FORGET The prmna flowers that go with this kit are so awesome. CHECK IT OUT!
(I used a sheet of Basic Grey Ambrosia and cut the butterflies out that is not included in the kit) I used pop dots to lift the small photo up off the page for added dimension (so I could add the lumpy flowers to the page) I have hidden Journaling tucked behind the photo for her to read when she receives the layout. just a little extra happy to let her know just how special she truly is.

Tomorrow is Friday last day of Spring Break. I have dr appt's too so not sure what all we are going to do. I felt all the effects of "The Park" but, it was worth it to see her face and hear her laugh. Maybe we can do something tomorrow if I can feel like it. I have a lot of online stuff to get done too. AND to get ready for her Birthday on Tuesday EEEK NOOOO say it isn't so!@

Fun at the Park

We did something today that I have not done in a long long time. Most of you know my situation and that I have pretty much been home bound for a while. I have been feeling better (ya I actually cooked this past weekend twice!!!! the fire department didnt even have to be called hehe) so today when John got through working, we went to fly her kite. (that was the original plan anyway) Well, only problem, not a lot of wind. soooooooo we went and played instead. HAD lots of fun.
NOW I HAVE NOT photo shopped and played with these photos much yet. We had a good time though and just wanted to share.

My view behind me when I told her we were going to the park instead... I think she was not to upset? what do you think?


She really wanted daddy to push her higher... I THINK THE SMILE ON HER FACE kept getting bigger and bigger.






I have alot more photos. But I want to scrap them so. anyway... you will see them soooon :) After we left the park We were all grungy and full of mulch in our hair and all over. But HUNGRY. Bella wanted to go to "The CHICKEN STORE" (there is this restaurant here that is kinda a mom and pop place that has the best fried chicken) It is a family atmosphere that wouldn't mind that you came in fresh from the park... mulch and all. So we went straight into the bathroom and I tried to get most of the mulch off of us and wash her face and hands. so we didn't look like homeless people haha. We really don't need to be eating out right now but it was nice to. we were tired and were just tired. Came home. got sick.. but it was worth going out for I tell ya!
Watched AMERICAN IDOL! YEAH HOW ABOUT THAT!!! wow (Next week 2 eliminations I think we know the 2 going home... and its disco week haha)

Im working on another page (did I mention how many boxes I have stacked on my table and how many projects behind I am? just askin?) I hope to get it uploaded here in a little bit. IF the weather cooperates we are going to try to fly that kite it is supposed to be a BEAUTIFUL DAY!

I took my shot so side effects just starting and depending on how I feel and how sore I am from today's adventure... we will see. bye for now!

Sweet SIgns Of Spring

This is from the May Kit at Scrapbook Obsessions. YUMMM. Basic Grey PORCELIN. be still my heart and that PRIMA SEW CUTE! THOSE PRIMA FLOWERS ARE AMAZING.
I added some of my own touches to it so you might wanna say I spent the evening with TIM HOLTZ. I used his distress inks and his distress stickles all over that butterfly. made for a nice effect I think.
I used pop dots under it to give it dimension. (so I could put my lumpy bumpy flowers and twigs under it)


Bella as you know is on spring Break. She learned something new today.
REFORMAT........ I will tell you more on this later. ya ITS GOOOD! hahahahha THANK GOD I HAD GOTTEN MY PHOTOS FROM EASTER OFF MY CAMERA. I SPENT MOST OF THE MONDAY FIGHTING THIS reader (HAS A SHORT SOMETIMES IN IT) to get the photos off it onto my computer and im soooooooo glad I did. I also got the ones off moms too so I could do a surprise for her.... so much for that. (if you guys ONLY KNEW THE WEEKEND WE HAVE HAD MY POOR HUSBAND IS READY TO MOVE US AND TELL NO ONE WHERE WE ARE GOING AND CHANGE OUR PHONE NUMBER, IM READY TO LET HIM!!!!) I did get most of the pics though. THANK GOODNESS. Well I have lots to do. John is still working and we promised to take Bella to the park. we are still working on flying this kite lol.

Happy Easter!

We had a wonderful Easter Sunday! Bella woke up early to see what the Easter Bunny had Brought. She had gotten that cute little short set also she has on and a basket full of yummies, and a new carnival game for her Wii. lots of colored pencils and writing things for her to practice with for school and books for reading. SHE LOVES to read and does so good with it.




We had a great meal John cooked ham, I cooked green beans, skillet corn, pink eye purple eye peas, rolls and yummy deviled eggs it was all yummy. Carol and Norman drove over from Pensacola it was sooo good to see them. Carol Brought Strawberry shortcake BELLA ATE 3 big bowls of it. (SHE ALSO WANTED IT THIS MORNING FOR BREAKFAST!!) she keeps asking me is it lunch yet mama so she can have some more the kid lovessssssssssssssssss strawberries!


Grammaw was here too.

Bella and Norman Played the Wii Did I mention that Bella WHOOPED THE SNOT OUT OF HIM IN BOWLING ::SNICKER:: sorry Norman I think Bellas exact words were I SMOKEEEEDDD HIM!
We won't harrass him too bad about it or his baton twirling.. hehehe he was pretty cute though. WE all went outside since it was BEAUTIFUL OUTSIDE and rather windy since we had tornados coming (that wasnt so great) but it was gusty so Bella wanted to fly her little kite. SHe has a big kite that some other really sweet friends of ours (HEY MISS LIZ! WAVING FRANTICALLY!) gave her that is hanging on her wall in her room! but we are waiting to go to a big field with no trees notice our yard and all the big treesss! to fly it. so we flew this little barbie one in the driveway.
she had sooooooooo much fun. IT was much better this day since there was more breeze around and john could help her. Yesterday was hysterical watching her run up and down the driveway. (PLUS IT WORE HER LITTLE TAIL OUT AND SHE SLEPT GOOD. THink we are gonna do that some this week on spring break hahahahaa!!!

Later we went to Eva Caroline's and hunted Easter eggs. (Bella's very best friend in the whole wide world) Are they not just the sweetest ever) They have been best friends since we moved here. They were both about 2. not quite 2 actually. so adorable they were. so have actually grown up across the street together. Both only children. HOPE they always live across the street from each other and can be close like this.

I have projects due and tonight is shot night. John has to work we had tornados last night so he has some minor things to repair today. I hope everyone is safe and had no damage. WE ARE ALL OK AS you can see :)

Bella got a kite from grandma yesterday and couldnt wait to fly it... There was not a lot of wind so, She made her own. LEG POWERED WIND haha.

Bella is achhhhooo! aaaaachoooing! as she calls it. Poor baby. She could do the perfect nyquil commercial for kids right now. I should have known something was up this past week, when twice she took a voluntary nap. That is just unheard of.
She did the same today. I can say though she is still in good spirits and it has not stopped her ever quest of stalking the ice cream man.
He better hit our street today because she is camped out waiting for him dollar in hand!
(not like we don't have ice cream in the freezer but it is not the same as the wagon of cold treats that roam the neighborhood with music blaring) can't say I blame her. My heart goes pitter patter when I hear that melodious tune hit the airways.ahhh the sweet sound of spring.
It is almost Easter. You know what that means. Awesome candy. John brought home a new kind last night to my hearts wonderment and amazement. (and butt size expansion)
Reeses Peanut butter Whoppers. OMG why did they come out with these? To torment me. THats why.
Thank GOD he got the small box Thank GOD.
I couldn't sleep last night. Must have been the whoppers.
So I scrapped with the April Kit from Scrapbook Obsession. YESSSS Im still working with it. I had been sick and well yall know all about all that jazz then went to the dentist to FINALLY get my teeth fixed from all the damage this blame interferon is causing (need teeth to eat the whoppers! priorities yall!) and had allergic reaction to the Amoxycillan. (that was fun NOT!)

Bella and Eva Carline BOTH wanted to listen to the music but only had one set of headphones. They came up with a creative solution to share them. I had to snap this adorable photo and include it in her scrapbook.

Ya know Bella has been playing Mario Cart on the Wii so much with John... by the time she gets old enough to drive,Im scared her skillz may be a bit tarnished... well I saw this video on Youtube and well, I will let you judge for your self.

Not alot happning around here. We had storms like crazy this past weekend. Rain wind tornadoes now the temperature has dropped. I have got more scrapping done just waiting on my stickles to dry. So how is your day?

Prayer Request For Brittney

I have a special prayer request for a very beautiful girl. My cousin
Brittney Williams.
She had surgery a week ago to have a cyst removed on her ovary and we just discovered it was cancer. SO I am asking that you all please keep her in your prayers. As of right now they think they got it all when they did the surgery and it as all confined to the tumor and that she doesn't have to undergo any kind of extensive radiation or treatments but will be finding more out as she gets more test results back. She is only 18 years old, just is started college got excepted into a sorority and is so excited about so much right now. She is a tough girl but has a strong faith in God. She is very sweet very positive and has such a charming happy outlook.
so if you would just take a minute out of your day to say a prayer for her and her family, her mom is a talented scrapbooker,you can see her blog here I know as a mother that it would totally devastate me to go through this. I would rather it be me than my child. so please so an extra prayer for Jan. I cannot imagine going through knowing your child is having to deal with all this. Knowing Jan the way I do, It is tearing her apart inside so please just put in an extra word for her.

Finally I post....

Sorry I have been so long updating.. I still have good days and bad days. I am trying to scrapbook in between but it is still VERY SLOW GOING. It is taking alot longer to do things than it used to but I seem to be enjoying the process alot more than I used to. I notice things alot more I guess.
Hard to believe how big Bella is getting. She is being such a help. She cracks me up on a daily basis. John is doing really good. Staying busy as always. He takes such good care of his girls!
Bella loves to come back here and scrapbook with me (whether Im in the mood or not lol)She also is a Mario Cart Junkie You should here her and her daddy play. I get such a kick out of listening to her tell her daddy to "eat her dust" or to " BEAT THAT" I can always tell when she is winning or losing. If she loses she will say "hmmph! ok! LETS BOWL." (she rocks at Wii Bowling don't let the little turkey fool you into thinking she can't play)

WE have our taste of the world event at her school this weekend, and I SOOOOO HOPE I get to go,( Have I mentioned how good my hubby cooks? our class is in charge of the "Delectable desserts from around the world" but I'm not gonna hold my breathe. It is also shot night, and food smells, sounds, light, air well anything for that matter sometimes standing make me sick. depends on what day it is.
This last bout with shingles then the staph, MRSA I really havn't been the same since. I guess it just takes longer to recoup? Everyone keeps reminding me Im not 20 anymore (yeah like I need a reminder THANKS FOR THAT)

I know the color on my page is a little off. My eyes are still kinda wonky. I have new glasses, and photoshop and they are not in sync yet. so if you can kinda just turn your head to the left squint and then ..... ughmmm yeah. ok. maybe?
not so much? ok well here... try my glasses on. maybe that will help. ok well it was worth a shot!!

This is from when Bella's K-5 class went to the corn Maze. She loved feeding the lamb "right out of her hand" that was all she talked about (and the piggy races)

I have another layout put together but not finished. (shot night got in the way) But Hopefully I can work on that today. I also have another really CUTEEE project in the works but I have something else I have to wait on before I can finish it (grrrrr)
but soon enough soon enough. story of my life these days.
I may have to regroup and do soemthing else if it doesnt hurry up.

Bo Bunny is the highlight this month for the sight and I wanted to share a few pages
with their product.


This page is made with their "MY DARLING" line. It went well with the photos from The Childrens Museum field trip Bella went on. I used some aging techniques in Photoshop on the photos to make them look that way (for the non scrappers out there looking) I used a paint pen and painted in the word that was in the background paper and outlined it in the stickle glitter paint. I had alot of fun making this one. I love how she has her pinky stuck out in that second photo on the right hehe.



This is made with the "Sweetie Pie" line. It is so hard for me to believe my baby is gonna be 6. So I had to do a page telling her just that. She looks so grown up in this photo. (in her cute little outfit her Aunt Karen and Uncle Windale gave her she was modeling for us) I took chipboard letters and added stickles glitter glue to them to add sparkle to them to really make them stand out and 5 buttons on the side of that big flower to add up the 6 on top of that flower. Say it isnt so... she really cannot be turning 6 this year. WASN'T SHE JUST BORN????

I am working on more pages with my kit from Scrapbook Obsessions and also I will have some other yummies to show you later. I have just not been blogging or anything else much lately. Hope you all are enjoying spring weather and staying healthy and happy. I hope your eyes and head dont hurt from tilting your head to the left and squinting and wearing my glasses hehe)

I have great hopes in the future for research to one day put an end to these horrible diseases. If nothing else I think this show at least got some awareness of what its like. I know it is very misunderstood since one person has it and leads a totally normal life then the next person is debilitated. So it is very misunderstood.

I broke a tooth off and they will not fix it till this blame mrsa and shingles are healed grrrrrrrrrr. they are scared it will get in my blood stream. so i look like some kinda crack head redneck. It is awful,

updated update

well the newest update is the shingles we thought were all over my chest.. were not shingles it was actually m. r. s. a. if you are not familiar. ughmm look it up. its scary. it is a staph infection that is resistant to alot of antibiotics. luckily i had it topically. so it was just on my chest. I had shingles everywhere else on my face and neck. Then my MS has gotten kinda out of control so IM still not scrapping yet.
sorry I have not updated. I do have a few photos I need to upload and things I need to put up.
I just have been literally in the bed and have not been up much except at night. Have not updated have not done much of anything.
I do feel alot better it is im proving. Looks so much better. I can stand light and I actually sat in the living room tonight and watched part of CHUCK on tv, (This is huge I cant go in living room the light in their hurts my eyes so bad) sound hurts everything hurts.
so this is improvement.
so hopefully soon.

Sorry no update shingles all over

Sorry I havent updated I have and am still very sick with these shingles. This is the worst I have ever had them. I am covered more like chicken pox in my hair, my ears inside and on the back of ears, side of face, nose, one on corner of eye, (really concerned on that one)eyelid (that one too) down my neck ALL OVER my chest down my chest and ughm in between the girls, on stomach, a few on shoulders and back some on arm, my right elbow, inside crook of my elbow
on my left knee and on the inside of knee and on top of my feet. so when I say all over I mean it. all over.
so needless to say. I have not been scrapping. I have not been doing much of anything,I haven't gotten out of bed but to go to the dr and that is horrible. To bathe and put on clothes is torture. pure torture. They gave me special liquid phisohex soap that is sup to be gentle and help but omg it even hurts. we got into the more agressive infectious disease dr finally we have been trying then they told me i couldnt see him cuz i saw the other one in same practice. then they said i could but he was out of town...
John pitched a fit and got the other one finally to call him after explaining what i had and what was going on and how bad it was and in my throat so he was on phone with him all day on off yesterday, the one that is young and loves a good difficult case to call him. they changed ALLL MY MEDS (even though we just put out money we dont have but I dont care right now they coudl chop my head off just make it stop)
I feel a little better today but its still disgusting and itchy and it hurts to say the least. the steroids are making me have liek hot flashes and get sweaty so that makes it itch worse. so its just a mess.
I have to take the interferon the neurologist said I cannot go off it. this rebif interferon is the kind that works for the types of lesions I have on my brain stem so .. This is something I will have to continue to fight with.
We appreciate your prayers, I will get the things scrapped and finished and stuff when I get human again cuz I sure dont look anything close to human right now.

I go back to this dude on Wed. so Hopefully Either I will be lots better by then or they do something to make it go away.

I think I am finally about to get over this round of shingles. They will get almost gone and then move somewhere else though so Im scared to stop taking the steroids. i start tapering down off them and I get a couple more to pop up. so I guess It is just inevitable. I have been in kinda a daze this whole week though. They will do that to you though. They arent as painful (on me) depending on where they are. I know when they are on my face neck and ears they hurt the worse.

The temperature bouncing back and forth also has been lovely lol.

I tell you it has been fun looking at all the new product coming out from C.H.A. though. That has kept my spirits up. SO much to look forward to coming out from the manufacturers. Now I just have to get well so I can use it all hahaa.

I have stuff sitting on my scrap table right now I JUST HAVE TO GET steady so I can scrap with it!
