ICE CREAM!

I made a layout today in an online (get together) crop with my two besties Carrie and Debbie. I had a great time and it got my mind off Charley for a while. I found these adorable photos I had printed of my great niece Jazzy. Kasi and Jason's (Windale's Daughter and her husband's) little girl. She is a pistol and so funny. I enjoy scrapping her. I'm running out of cute pictures of Bella. (shes all grown up at college now and won't send me photos!!) I need to scrap, so Jazzy is my subject. I loved these photos of her enjoying her ice cream, with not a care in the world. Here is how I scrapped them.
I used Echo Park, Bella Blvd and Carta Bella patterned paper. Bazzil cardstock, Thickers, Tim Holtz distress stains, chipboard Hearts and arrows (HSN), prima flowers, little pearl jewels from hobby lobby. I inked all the edges with vintage photo distress stains. I also used the vintage photo distress stains on the chipboard letters, so they would match the patterned paper. Here is the Journaling: "Jazzy is a good eater. SHe eats most foods well. Her favorite foods are desserts of course, and of those desserts, Ice Cream ranks high up there amongst the favorites. She lavishes delight with every single bite, enjoying the next bite as much if not more than the first. It brings great joy to see her eat ice cream and be so happy. Especially with chocolate sauce on top. She tries to be extra good and eat all of her veggies, so she can get her beloved treat. I hope when she grows up she doesn't lose her love for ICE CREAM!" Thanks for Looking!!

MY PRECIOUS CHARLEY BOY

I update my blog today bearing sad news, Most of you have already heard. I want to document it on my blog for years to come though. MY sweet baby boy, my heart, my puppy love, My precious Charley dog (my yorkie) passed away yesterday afternoon. He passed away in his bed, In our kitchen. I had just checked on him not long before. We think it was a reaction to his Heartwormer medication. We have the vet running blood work and stuff to find out for sure. Charley was a sweetheart of a dog. A champion among hearts. HE stole my heart! We got him from a friend that had a goat farm and he and his brother were both living there and his brother was bullying him. He also was getting head butted by goats. She wanted to find a more sufficient home for him where he wouldnt be bullied and headbutted by goats. HE was perfect for us!JOhn brought him home and we instantly fell in love!
He really attached himself to Bella our daughter. HE slept with her and where she went he went. except for school of course. while she was at school or spending the night at friends he attached himself to me or John. He loved all of us. He had the sweetest personality. He really loved to play with Bella.
He didn't like rain, he hated getting his feet wet and really didnt like taking baths. He would hide in his hidey hole which was a soft side cargo kennel we placed under the end table beside my chair next to the couch. He went in there when he needed quiet time or privacy or felt bad. OR was hiding or scared. John would have to drag him out of there to give him a bath. He usually did not go after him when he escaped to his hidey hole we wanted that to be his safe place buy, sometimes he reallllyyyyy needed that bath!!
HE was scared of his own shadow and didnt like loud noises, the dark or any unusual things. He was my bashful warrior of sorts. He would protect me but I had to go first. He was courageous for his Bella. He would bark if anything got near her while he was around. He would wait at the door for her whenever she would leave home. charley and lala both, would go run for the door at any sound they would hear when Bella was out and expected home thinking she was home. BUT, when she did get home it was a wonderful welcome with hugs and kisses and barks and nothing but happiness. Im gonna miss that most of all. He was excited to see us.
Now that Bella has gone to college, He got more attached to me and followed me everywhere I went all day long. He laid right at the end of my feet when i was sitting in my chair and I would accidently kick him. He didn't care. I trained him or maybe he trained me from when we first got him that at 10:00 at night when I take my meds, I give him and lala treats (usually shredded up carrots or shredded cheese) so they got to where they would come to me at 10 to remind me it was treat time. BUT, to me they were reminding me to take my meds.
He was the best dog and loved his Bella, His mama and his daddy. John would sit and brush him charley could jump up in the chair with him after some coaxing with the brush. it was too funny. Thats another thing. Not a day went by that he didn't make me smile and or laugh at some of his silly antics. He loved to go out of the front door in the front yard (on a leash) to check his "pee mail" from other dogs that have been walked in our neighbor hood. He would get so excited peeing where they pee'd. so that was a ritual he did on the daily with John.
My heart is so full and my eyes are filled with tears. I miss this little fella so much and he had my whole heart in his. We werent expecting him to die. He had alot of life left. but we never know when our time is up. I am grateful for the time we had with him. Im glad we didnt have to put him to sleep, Im glad he was at home in his bed, in our kitchen, with us. I really would have been upset if the vet would have kept him. I will always love charley. He was the best boy. He soothed my spirit and knew how to make me feel better. I will miss you forever. I hope you have arrived over rainbow bridge. Hopefully you have met our other deposit there Our dog we adored Guido. (Austrailian Shepherd) I think yall will be great friends. Yall both protected our family well. and loved us with all your heart. Good bye little man mommy loves you. Sleep sweet.
