Project Kathy and a Thank you

First of all THANK YOU SO MUCH to everyone that has been praying for Kathy and her family. I talked with Sally and another friend today and they are doing a blood transfusion on her to try to help build her up some.
We are going to start the Pages for Kathy project. We are making an album 12 x 12 with all about me pages and baby girl pages. THey are going to be 12 x 12 and just think girl colors. We are doing them simple so she can do journaling as she would like to on them.
IF anyone is interested in making pages or donating anything, just respond here or send an email. We need to get this done ASAP it honestly isnt looking good. Read the previous post you will see why time is not much luxury at this point. We will be giving this to her through the church and the school. As pages are done I will get them to Sally to take to her. That way she can journal on them or add the photos she wants us to add. You are welcome to put your name and address and words of encouragement on the back of the page if you would like. I have had numerous volunteers already and we thank you all. Please continue to pray for kathy, her husband Jason and her daughter Claudia (5 months old). We know God can work miracles. We truly need one for Kathy now. So please remember their family. Thank you so much

bad sad horrible news

Got really bad news.. Really need everyone to pray for this person. Her name is Kathy Paajanen. She is the toddler teacher at Bella's school. She just got dx with cancer in her breast, her spine, pelvis, liver, kidney. possibly lung, blood and throat they havnt gotten those back yet. They are pretty much saying nothing they can do... she has a 5 month old baby girl, Claudia. Her hubby is taking this horribly which I mean who wouldn't but he is just in bad shape. They are asking for everyone to pray.
ANd she is saying that if you find a lump a bump or anything to PLEASEEEEE go check it out dont wait. A couple weeks could be the difference between treatment and nothing they can do but let you try to be comfortable while you live out the remainder of your days.

Please keep them in your prayers tonight and hug your family a little tighter.

Scrap that moment Monday BLog Challenge

TOdays challenge on SCRAP THAT MOMENTS blog challenge is: WHat is your Passion. WELL I have 3 . My family, scrapbooking and photography. I love patterened paper and all you can do with it. I havent met many patterned papers I haven't liked. ESPECIALLY this crate paper IT IS TO DIE FOR!

I have been working really hard at my photography skills with lots of help from Tracey WHites book and calgaz showing me how to use my camera haha. I have seen alot of progress. I LOVE my camera and all its functions and it takes the best photos. BUT the person behind the camera has to kinda know what they are doing too. SO I had to make myself practise. Bella doesnt seem to mind too much.

Hope you have a wonderful Monday and if you get a chance stop by the boards on Scrap that moment. You will find all kinds of challenges there from blog challenges to scrappin challenges or kick back and muse with us in our daily musings and tell us about your day and whats on your mind. Forwarding on the challenge..

My friend Annette forwarded me a blog entry from another friend of hers that did a challenge on ~~>
This front page of the Parade. IF YOU HAD ONE DAY TO SPEND WITH SOMEONE WHO'S GONE... Who would it Be? What would you do?

Wow perfect timing Annette. I Definitly would choose my daddy. NO doubt without hesitation. I miss him more than words will ever say. There is no word to describe how much I miss him. I went home last Saturday and took Bella to the Pumpkin Patch. We went down "daddys Road" I call it. The road that he was killed on and later renamed the BObby McCrary Memorial drive. I tried to explain to Bella that this was her Pawpaw's road. She asked the normal 3 year old questions.. "Did He build it?' no I replied, "he didn't build it. "Then why is it Pawpaw's road?' "Becaus,e he was such a special man that they named it after him." "Oh ... CAN I have some more pink gum?"
We were traveling down that road (you have to so you can get to the pumpkin patch) and taking photos. I wanted a better photo of his sign for the book I am working on of his life. I havent gotten too far it hurts my soul. I did work on the page last night for my That Design Team sponsor pages for next months sponsor on Scrap that Moment. It is hard but IT is going to be a beautiful dedication page. I want to add happy pages too though so BElla will KNOW the man we loved so much. Not just that he died.

How do you explain something like that to a baby? I know he knows her. But the first thing I would do is tell him everything about her and John. Tell him How I met John and How he saved me and takes such care of me. How he loved me back to reality and made me wanna get on with life somewhat and that IT Was OK TO LIVE. I will tell him how I always saw him ,well see him, all over Bella. Her mannerisms and things she says, and I know he is whispering just what for her to do to get on my nerves and pay me back haha.
I wouldTell him that the Atlanta Braves won the world series right after he died and I Know he had to have put in a good word for them cuz they sucked so bad the year before. Tell him how much mama misses him and we all miss him. How I lay awake at night wondering what it would be like if he were here, and how life just isn't the same without him here and how life went so crazy after he was taken from us. Tell him I know he didn't want to go but I know he had to. Yes, tell him the bastard that did it is in jail and not to fear I will not rest, he will serve out his ENTIRE sentence and he better pray he never sees the light of day from anywhere but behind bars if it is my last breathe in me. SO HELP ME!
I do think about what it would be like if he was still here.. Would I live in Alabama? Probably not.. he wouldnt let me take that baby to ALabama, he would have had me arrested or road blocks set up and an amber alert in full force before I hit the Rankin county line. (ha ha) But also living there wouldn't be so hard for me if he was still there. Would I have gotten so sick? I know he would spoil Bella totally rotten and take her riding in his old truck. He would let her play with his glasses, Teach her inappropriate songs like he taught me, How to belch the Abc's and let her change the channel on the tv with the remote. (Something we were never allowed to do.) I know he would sneak her a never ending supply of pink gum and grin as she smacked it, enjoying every chew of the flavor it holds. He would get pure delight out of her cowboy boots and how sassy she is in them. He would giggle at her ways and her sayings. She would be his buddy no doubt. We would walk along that road they named after him and Id ask him what he would change about his time he spent here. He always asked me that when something happened good or bad.. what would you change. I'd hug him tight and tell him just how much I love him and wish he was here and How much I miss him and He would grin and say HEY it aint that bad, it could be worse. Then he would say "Dang your a good lookin kid, cuz you look like me." wink at me along with his mischievious grin he always had,

and probably toss me a lifetime supply of pink gum.

What about you? Who would you like to see? What would you Say? What would Yall do?

Photos from the patch

We are still recouping at the Jones res. can't go and do anything it seems anymore that one of us doesn't get sick. Here are the photos I promised if BLOGGER will cooperate :)
Bella loved this tiny pumpkin. She wanted to ALTER it she said hahahaaha My daughter what can I say. She looked everywhere for her perfect pumpkin to take home with her. She loved looking at the Green ones too. Actually we did take home a green one as well.
THey had lots to do there from a old fashioned rope swing, a corn box kinda like a sand box.. and a hay maze. SHE had LOTS of fun! (check out those cowboy boots isn't she stylin') SHe thinks she is something in them boots now. WE have our Tuesday Night Girls Chat AT Scrap that Moment tonight. You should come check it out. We always have lots of fun. Hope everyone back home is safe from the storms last night. IT got really bad here too at one time we had 4 tornadoes and the sirens kept going off all night. SCARY! BUt everyone is safe and sound. Just didn't get much sleep last night haha.

When did I get so flippin' old?

JOhn Bella and I rode to Mississippi yesterday to go to The Nichols/Boyd Pumpkin Patch (a really awesome place to go if you have never been) I really feel old today. We stopped and picked up John's mom and my cousin Jan and her grand daughter Brelynn met us there. We had a great time took lots of pictures of the kids. Went on the Hay ride tour where we saw buffalo and Zedonks (cross between a donkey and a zebra) and the regular cows and goats and chickens pot bellied pigs and stuff. We all with about 40 other people piled into a flat bed with sides trailor full of hay and rode around through pasture after pasture looking at animals and pumpkins and christmas trees. IT was a VERY BUMPY RIDE.
Bella had a fabulous time "papping" (petting) the animals and FEABEN (feeding) the baby chicks. She got a little confused on the pumpkins they looked like balls to her and if it wasnt the perfect one would toss it back down. We had to explain THESE THINGS are not balls and they will break and their seeds and eww stuff will fly out to not do that... well go figure... anyway after going to the pumpkin patch I went to the Local scrapbook store on that side of town scrappin DIvas and saw Miss Wendy and Rowan (hi guys) havent seen either of them in forever. SHe had some awesome stuff there. but I was rushed so didnt get to really shop. It was good to see them though. We stopped by My mom's (grandma's) and then went to Dave and Darlenes (it was Dave's birthday) and then made the drive back home. YES we came BACK HOME same day... DID I MENTION 3 hours one way? TODAY I feel like a train wreck or like a train wreck survivor. It would be easier to say what parts didnt hurt like maybe eyelashes... but im not so sure of that.
I look at the photos of Jan (wanna age her up and wrinkle her) she looks awesome. I look like IM the grandma of everyone even John.. NOT Jan. She looks like she walked off an album cover. I wanna sit on her or something hahah Love ya Jan. IT was so good seeing them since we normally only get to see them once a year. WE NEED to all get to gether more often.
HIghway 49 and a camry were not made for each other. ITs not that the car didnt have a smooth ride IT really did but man I can sure feel every crack in the pavement today. OK nuff fussing about feeble feeling bones. WE did have a wonderful time. We got to see old friends we havent seen in a long time, see Buffallo is sandhill Mississippi (who knew) and a zedonk... Bella still hasnt gotten over that and the walking goat. she thought that was too cool. She loved the tiny pumpkins and wanted to take them all home. she called them the cute pumpkins. They didnt have the old truck and the other decorations that they ussually have. We dont know if because of the crowds and kids climbing on them if that is why they werent there or what BUT I miss the cute photos we ussually get there. Bella loved getting the stamp on her hand of the three pumpkins and THE lady that drove our school bus when I was in first grade was working in the store.. HOW COOL IS THAT! John pointed out to me also we ussually go late in the evening and no one is ussually there but we went at high time on saturday when the tours were going on is why it was so crowded. But we still had SOOOO MUCH FUN! I am sure she will remember it forever and if she doesnt I have 192 photos to remind her.

You know your a good cook when....

Your hubby ends up in the ER cuz the roast you cooked WAS SOOOOOOO GOOOD (how good was it Nancy?) SOOO GOOOD that he didn't wanna even chew it cuz it would ruin the flavor before swallowing... (HAHAHAHa sorry honey I LOVE YOU ) I AM SOOO HAPPY you are ok. You scared the fire out of me! BUt now it is a little funny since Your ok an all. ::wink::

YEs the drama never ceases to end at the Jones residence. I cooked a roast and man it was good. John has an issue though when he eats meats like roast or steak that sometimes they get stuck in his throat. (esp. when it is a huge piece, he didnt cut up or bother to chew, just shoves in his mouth) WELL, HE got a big ol honkin piece put it in his mouth IT was hot (hmm maybe that SMOKE ROLLIN OFF IT WOULD BE A CLUE) so he puts this big ol chunk in his mouth does the "OH MAN ITS HOT" dance and swallows ....then ugh ohh.. it wont go down ... wont go up ... ugh oh.. well he waits thinking it will work it's way down for .... 5 hours. (yes I raised utter cain at him) before letting me after I told his sister on him and his mama and threatened to drag him behind my car with yarn, ribbons and some adhesive tied in a pretty bow around his neck (red line no doubt) to the ER, where they would NOT ONLY have to take the meat out of his throat, but my hands from around the outside of it as well IF HE DIDNT GET IN THE CAR AND GO TO THE ER SO THEY COULD SAVE HIS LIFE.... NOPE he wasnt going. "ILL BE FINE I just need to get it out" (oh, well, why didnt you say so)... its been 5 hours.. not minutes.. HOURS ... KNOCK KNOCK... IT AINT COMIN UP without medical attention. FINALLY after talking to his sister(again) and her calling his mother... He agreed RELUCTANTLY to go.
SO we take Bella to her last year teacher's (Mrs Tracey GOD I LOVE HER) house drop her off. (did I mention my kid had those big ol sparkly horns the size of christmas trees? I think that was a prior post somewhere) then off to ER.
WEll when you get a big ol man still in his nice work clothes come in grabbing his chest and heaving to breathe THEY WISK YOU OFF. SO we splain what the deal is. THey gave him finally (it didnt take too long maybe 30 minutes in the waiting room... IM telling you IF YOU NEED TO go to er for anything GRAB YOUR CHEST they rush you bac,k man I dont care, broke arm.. broke leg, the flu GRAB YOUR CHEST) so they give him these 2 muscle relaxers and man he was like HEEElllooooo dahlin' after that. Mr Im chillin where is the party till he starts the upchuck. BUTconveinently right before they were gonna wheel him down to put the handy dandy pitch fork tube thingy down his throat and spear the roast out.. Up it came.. (Thank you lord) HE felt much better immediatly.

Guess what My dear sweet charming loving husbands words were.. "HEY HUN COME HERE... You need me to get that for you for the scrapbook page I KNOW you will do on this?"
MEN .... GOTTA LOVE EM! He also asked if this was gonna be on my blog tomorrow.... hehehe What do you think?! HEY it could have been worse. I could share the story of Bella asking you about your BIG GIRL PANTIES :) Love you honey SO HAPPY you are feeling better.

Another Manic Monday?

Well today the Cat will go bye bye. THe director at bella's school wants him. IM sad but I know it is for the best. Bella wants to love on it and carry it around (much to the cats horror) and she is allergic. SHe has rings under her eyes and stays broken out. SO I hate to do it but I know it is for the best. She is gonna be so sad but she will be ok. She still has Mr. Guido out there. We are going to get her a puppy with hair not fur after the first of the year or maybe for her birthday. we want her to get a little older so she wont kill it I mean love it to death.

DOn't forget to check out THAT SPONSOR this month at SCRAP THAT MOMENT . I havn't uploaded my projects yet because my upload day is not till Thursday. The Tim Holtz papers we got are amazing. We got some precious Fall papers also. We got A TON of different lines I was so shocked by how much stuff was in that box. IM SO IMPRESSED! LOVIN' this design team stuff! Everyone is so talented it just buzzes with inspiration.

Another scrapbook store is up for sale. How scary. I pray the LSS's make it. Hurricane Katrina was so hard on the stores in the areas. BUt Health concerns were the main reason. It is hard for her to do these days. Praying she finds a buyer and it can stay open. They did a great job with having the cool product in stock but I know how hard it is to keep up with a LSS. Especially with internet and the chains moving in. Good luck to the guys at Scrappin Friendsy. Hoping someone will come in and buy it.

Well I am off to cook supper and to deal with a sad baby girl cuz her kitty cat is now going to a new home. I know she will be so sad but her health is so much more important.
Pray for us tonight lol

Sunny Saturday

Today was a BEAUTIFUL day here in Mobile. Perfect weather, not too hot. The wind blowing a small breeze. Perfect day for Bella to play outside. SHE DID... almost ALL DAY LONG. I can remember when I was a kid going outside and playing all day. SO much fun. Poor kitty, Bella wanted it to do the CHA CHA but it just wasn't cooperating... Poor cat is gonna have nightmares about that short mean child.

She didn't have a clean spot on her when she came inside this evening. She was helping daddy most of the day. John got the new garage door working. Bella was convinced we needed to call Handy Manny but we kept saying NO DADDY CAN DO IT. SO she helped DIRECT him on the correct use of tools. HA! We needed the sensor on the door the one that came on the house when we bought it was outdated and had no sensor for objects left under the opening, so when a car pulls in or if a little short person by the name of Bella hits the button and leaves stuff in the way it wont crush it or ESPECIALLY her! He also burned some of the rest of the pile in the back yard STILL left from when they cut our pines. Bella kept telling me Daddy was cooking sticks... I was confused on that one but got it when I saw he was burning the old limbs and stuff. Pretty funny. ONE DAY it will be lookin good again. Bella had a grand time playing. We cooked out on the grill tonight (YUMMY STEAKS HUN) John can cook an awesome steak. Bella crashed early she was so tired. I have not seen her that dirty in a while.

I played outside this morning with her and then some this afternoon before it got dark and the mosquitos came out. IT sucks not being able to get out in the sun but I know better. I had alot of work to do anyway getting my projects done for Scrap that moment. I think I have them finished, now to just scan them in. I have to clean up my scraproom mess also It looks like a cycoon came through. I JUST LOVE this paper from this months sponsor. Yall are going to love this. SO much talent there. I am gonna do a couple more things tomorrow to them, just some polishing touches. Then scan/photo them. Well off to bed got church in the a.m. Then lots of work in the afternoon helping Net get THAT STORE upgraded whewhew CANNOT WAIT! My wallet is screaming at the thought.

Bella and her photo shoot

I did a photo shoot with Bella this afternoon... This is pretty much what she thought of it.... I did get some really cute photos though, some ok photos and then some el yuck o photos.. SHe was very distracted by a boy riding his 4 wheeler really fast up and down the road. She thought that was way cool and maybe she should have one of those...
I flash back to a certain barbie jeep that she named "THE SCARY JEEP" She was terrified of that jeep.. WELL not at first. AT first it was very cool and she sat on it and was like hmm ok, then her friend Eva Caroline decides to hit the go pedal ALL THE WAY TO THE FLOOR and run them through the swing set. No one was hurt but terror struck.
SO much for the barbie jeep. That was it for her. She had no desire to be on it. I did everything, I tried to get her to ride it but no... SO we luckily were able to return it... she has been talking about a 4 wheeler or a jeep again and I am still thinking it is not such a great idea.
John was talking to our friend at Bella's school who is also the director. She told us how impressed she was with Miss Bella (we looked around in shock and surprise to see if there were any other parents standing around with children by name of Isabella) She said No She is so quiet and reserved in class. (the look of shock on our faces must have totally taken her aback) She minds her teacher and does what she is asked. (again we are looking around for the set of parents that belong to this wonderful kid they are describing cuz THAT CANNOT BE our kid) She then tells about how she walks out to the playground and got a real treat. Bella had all the boys lined up in her class and was telling them THE CORRECT way to do things and this was how IT was gonna be done and no exceptions. Funny was THEY WERE DOING IT! everything she said.. Mind you the little girls were off in the corner hopscotching and playing on swings but oh no NOT Bella she is over with the boys telling them how this show will be run and They are to do as she says, when she says.... no exceptions. I couldn't help but laugh cuz THIS sounds so much more like the kid we know. Our friend thought this very funny, that she was keeping the boys in line. She couldnt get over how they were paying attention to the little dictator and doing what she said. I just shake my head.

Bella is thinking she is MUCH the superstar since her photo is in the Hobby lobby book. She loves to look at it and tells everyone "The Bobby Bobby has my pitter in a book" she informs anyone that will listen. OF course most people wonder who this bobby person is with photos of my kid.. so we explain. I try to tell Bella that this is not near as important to the rest of the world as it is to her grandmother who purchased enough copies to wall paper a small office. Can't wait for the legacy shoot to come out.. she is gonna be floored then. OR maybe she will use it as tile who knows..

We have taken another left turn on the scrapbook room project. We are thinking of going with the "Heidi Jones" approach and putting the cabinets and counter top in. We think we found a good deal on some and man it is NICE! Also out of site maybe out of Bellas hands.... doubt it but it is worth a shot. Also is going to be cheaper since his dad isnt going to be able to do the table and we have to get it done or go purchase it. I think the counter top will be more sturdy as well. Im so excited and glad the construction is about to begin.
I am supposed to go crop with some friends this weekend, I so hope I get to go. I miss them so much havent seen them in a while. Depends on hubbys schedule. Plus I don't drive much yet at least till all of the medication is out of my system especially at night. Who knew how bad that shingles screws up your eyes. So who knows if I will get to go, It is wait and see at the moment.

I GOT MY BOX FROM STM and Scrappy Chick. OH MY GAWESH. I am in love with all the stuff in that box. I couldn't believe all the product and LOVE all the extras. I can't tell you all the surprises, you will be able to see them this month on SCRAP THAT MOMENT in THAT GALLERY when the DT uploads all our projects, but I have to say TIM ROCKS! :)

I got my surpises for the pubs in Scrappy Chick too CAN YOU SAY ENTIRE LINE OF THE FALL/THANKSGIVING papers from Flair Designs along with embellies and the stickers and the velvet ribbons and the charms and the cardstock letters! MOUTH WATERING BABY! I have so many plans for that! I have been told next month Scrappy Chick prizes will be sponsored by Cosmo Cricket. CAN I GET A OH YEAH BABEEEY! SO submit submit submit!

HUGE SHOUT OUT to Shari at SANDYLION. I needed some papers that I couldn't find anywhere online to finish a project for Legacy magazine. I emailed her asking her where I could find them, who may carry them and did they have websites etc. She was so very nice and worked hard to find me an answer but had a HUGE rolodex of stores and didnt know who had this exact line so instead she said "I have no idea but I can fix this" and shipped me out the papers I needed RIGHT THEN! NOW that is customer service.. SOMETHING that you just dont see anymore. Thank you again to Shari YOU ROCK and so does SandyLion! You can catch that project in the March edition of Legacy magazine and Somerset home idiea book.

Well I have 2 of my 5 projects almost ready to go. I have to finish printing my photos and then lock myself in my room and get this done. THIS IS SO MUCH FUN! I am in scrapping heaven!
TA TA FOR NOW... and Happy scrappin'

Mommy, can we keep him?

THis was the challenge page I did tonight for that Tuesday Night Girls Chat at Scrap that Moment.

The subject was YOUR PETS.. well this is our latest pet... The cat's name keeps changing as Bella's mood changes which is daily. Its name was smelly cat for the longest time but now she is calling him Vinnie... WHo knows what his name will be tomorrow. Guido gets along with him in the back yard so that is good.

I LOVE SEI papers. Really fun to work with. How can you say no to this face (poor cat wishes we would Im sure)

Karma, My Daddy, and a child with horns.

Karma is a funny thing. IT all goes back to the Golden rule. We all learned it as children.. DO unto others as you would have them do unto you.......
Well some of us learned it as kids. Some maybe not so much.
But again..it comes down to karma. Essentially it is the same thing. The what comes around goes around method of life that really has been proven time and time again to exist. Karma is also kinda like a curse.
I say all this cuz today has been one of "THOSE DAYS".

We have a water leak... inches from the main ON OUR SIDE. SO all the stuff that was supposed to get done today AINT HAPPNIN cuz, well. We have no water. I noticed yesterday as I stalked the mailman, water inside the hole where the meter reader thingy is and thought "HOW ODD, I don't remember it raining" I am no plumber, so I was thinking it had something to do with gravity or something, I had no clue about, so went on about my way. Today, John is looking at a small geyser and is a little irritated that I didn't mention the above said water.... YESTERDAY... whoops... didn't realise that was important, but now I do.
Well any of you that have kids know how important routines are and getting out of those routines can be hazardous to everyone who is in the kids presence, health. Bella was gonna play with her friend Eva today and we were gonna get the floor project finished... nope.. now water problem will have be fixed, which no complaints from me. I kinda enjoy having running water inside. We spent many years without it growing up, so I really appreciate that luxury. BUT nooo, Our child has horns and a much different agenda today.
She stayed at her friends, maybe an hour, before she missed us so much it physically pained her. (she needed a nap) Daddy let her go with him to home depot. She comes back with M&m's cuz well... any child in need of a nap should get a big old dose of chocolate right before hand.....SO he tells me "Make her take a nap, I need to go back to the store. I need THIS piece. That one won't work" (he holds up some odd looking something or nother that resembled something that yeah probly had to do with plumbing, but I think a ploy to get away from the kid with horns the size of Christmas trees sprouting from her head, that is NOT quietly expressing her discontent with the entire situation.
FINALLY, amid the screams of protest, I get her to lay down. I promise her we will go to the store, Ice cream, yes, we will get Ice cream... if you will CLOSE YOUR MOUTH and CLOSE YOUR EYES and please for the love of all that is good in the world go to SLEEEEPPPP! " BEDDA NOT WANNA TAKKA NAyughPPPPPPPP WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA nonononono not wanna nonononononononono BEDDA NOT WANNAAAAAAAAA" Ok, so somewhere in heaven my daddy is just bent over grasping his stomach in fits of laughter right now. Because as she is in mid SCREAM ATHON in protest of the NAP I SOOOOO was in need of her taking, she spotted what? A commerical on tv for a Strawberry shortcake baby doll that had beautiful flowing hair and was wearing a back pack OOoohhh aahhhhhh " ::DEEP GASP FOR AIR::: MOMMY BEDDA WANT THYATTTTT then ... silence.... I spin around almost falling to see what this miraculous thing was that made her HUSH IN MID SCREAM. I NEEEDEd THIS MIRACULOUS PRODUCT... what??? Oh I dont think so. A TOY? SO I say well baby..:: yes called her baby instead of spawn of satan like I was thinking:: Maybe Santa claus can bring that to you....but, Santa doesn't bring toys to children that are being bad and not taking their naps.... She looks at me as if to day "Oh ye dear sweet lady that has a thought in your head" and replies "NO mommy I meant today!" HUH? Oh I do not think so. For a mere second I would have given 40 dolls for her to hush and go to sleep, but no we are not gonna teach extortion, that is not the moral of the story! So, she lays there and just starts talking.. jabbering away about "dont wanna take nap, dont have to take nap, what is that... what is that for? WHY do I have to take a nap? but why? but why? why? mommmy? mommy... MOMMMY!!? "Yes Bella?" WHY? "why what?" (she can't even remember cuz she said why so much) I said "Bella be quiet and go to sleep... "
OK, rewind, go back to beginning of the the previous paragraph (in theory) and start over... yes we relived it again OK, so I know that these books you read say do this, and whatever and some super nanny woman will even come to your house and try to fix your kid, but when there is karma in the way I dont think a book will help. Somewhere in Rankin County in the rural outskirts of a tiny town In Mississippi, sits a man wise beyond his years, who when he reads this story is gonna laugh very hard. His name... Mr. Steve Young.. ::waving:: "Hi Mr. Steve" When I was about Ohhhh.. say Bella's age.(!!!).. he was an older teenager maybe early twenty ager and he painted our house one summer during school break. Well, I was his personal entertainment. I played the radio for him... and my job was to ask him AS MANY questions as possible to see how crazy I could drive him. WHY he didnt kill me is a miracle and also probably why this man is so respected in our community today.... WHY? I would say... "what you do that for? but why? how come you do it that way? "
What he didn't realise is my parents were probably off somewhere thanking GOD that this kid was painting their house and I wasnt asking them all these questions. Well later on, This same guy was my youth leader at church.. then our young adult sunday school teacher, then our couples sunday school teacher, a wonderful mentor and a person I looked/actually still look up to for advice and teaching and as a role model... SOMEwhere in all of this he put Karma into play... we also know it as "The curse.. " Yes he said "I HOPE THAT YOU WILL HAVE A KID SOMEDAY that will ask as many questions and drive you crazy like you did me." Oh no I dont just say Thank you to him...

My father did the same... Its not their fault.. I put the same curse on Bella and her Karma into action today, cuz it will take at least 3 of her to make up for the nerves she got on today... BUT, anyway, I was a talkative child (pause for gasps of shock and waves of disbelief among blog land) I KNOW yall find THAT hard to believe BUT I was/an a joy to everyone who knew/err knows me (hahahahahaa) I wasnt a bad kid though my father back in those days would have just beat me and made another one, those were back in the days where if you got a spanking .. You probably deserved (no my parents were not child beaters or anything they spoiled the kids but didnt spare the rod though) at the grocery store or any other place in public other parents applauded and sometimes would Kick you back in if you tried to run away... (NO you wouldn't be arrested you would be called a good parent) Well I would ask my father the same why questions a million times a day till he would Totally lose it and probably would have abused alcohol at some point if I had not stopped.. but he put the same Karma into action on me ... except he kicked it up a notch.. He said "one day You will have a kid JUST LIKE YOU... wait wait NO.. You will have one WORSE...."
SO ALL YOU KIDS OF THE WORLD.. ALL you Teenagers driving your parents nuts today... Think of this and know Karma is real... I have a child with two beautifully decorated sparkly horns growing out of her head, as a banner of karma right now asking me "WHY WHY WHY" she cant get in this room with me that she has painted with ink that I just cleaned up... again.. "BECAUSE I SAID SO"I reply... (OH NO!) WOrds as a kid I screamed I would never say to my child but NOW realise, what a booger karma is and that yeah I was probably their lesson to learn as well... Do not get me wrong,I LOVE my child with every ounce of my heart and Praise and thank GOd for her daily, but today.. I REALLY SEE what a sense of humor the lord has... SO KIDS... THis should say.. DO UNTO YOUR PARENTS NICELY, CUZ IT WILL COME BACK TO BITE YOU WHEN YOU HAVE KIDS OF YOUR OWN!

Thanks Daddy, Thanks Mr Steve.... Im bringing her to your house now :)

All because of an ANT? or hundred...

Im sure you find that hard to believe but ... it is true. I was sitting Thursday night at my computer where you will find me after the dunk and bunk (give Bella a bath and put her to bed) I look down at my carpeted scrap room floor and see a cheetoo. I don't remember there being a cheetoo there but .. ok IM not so observant these days.. I look back down.. CHeetoo is gone.. NOT GOOD I look over about ohhhhh 4 inches there goes cheetoo... MOVING.. Ok I took a tylenol sinus earlier but I dont think halucinating is a side effect... COULD BE WRONG... I call John JOOOOOHHHHHHHNNN Oh wait crapp baby is asleep so I whisper jooooohhhhhnnnnn very sternly so he will COME HERE NOW. He is pounding down the hall SHHHH DONT YOU WAKE HER UP! I said I know Im sorry but LOOOOK! CHEETOOO ... Moving... .......... NOT NORMAL!!!!!! He stares at me Like Joey used to stare at people on the show friends with the one eyebrow raised... and says HUH? I said just watch it. Ok so he thinks IM nuts but then he goes "HOW DID You do that?"... AHHHAAA! You see it to. He thinks I HAVE LOST MY EVERLOVING MIND by now. I kick the cheetoo and voila ANTS... not just one but like an entire construction crew of ants. I look and they have a fan club LOTS OF THEM.. seems the cheetoo movers are a popular crew in antdom.. SO my first reaction... freak out. pull stuff away find where they came from.. we discover MORE AND MORE ants. HUGE mound outside window... I guess they thought this one cheetoo is gonna be like a huge feast.. THEY SOO underestimated me. SO we look.. NOTHING to spray SO I try... WINDEX... You know In case I wanted to have that NO GLARE shine on my ants cuz all it did was make them like REALLY mad (like you wouldnt be if someone sprayed you with windex) so john pulls out the big guns... SEVEN... Ok so Im thinking IM NOT to get this on my hands or any exposed skin or any painted surface... OH BUT SPRAY HEAVILY into the carpet... MAKEs perfect SENSE TO ME!! lets KILL EM! SO we did and killed the ants...
Woke up the next morning with a fear OMG I sprayed poison IN MY HOUSE that my child lives in.... NOT GOOD. but we were desperate ,did keep the door shut and no children or animals JUST ANTS were harmed. We ran the vaccum cleaner but I still had that eww feeling.. SO what is a girl to do.. RIP UP HER CARPET I SAY! I have been wanting to do this anyway. SO hubby rolled his eyes and gave in.... IM SO GLAD he did. It looks soo much better and we found a ton of brads that I droped probly a year ago on the floor and coulnt find (told him the floor ate them) it ate everything You would drop something it was gone forever.. so now... I can see it. we will stain the concrete and texture it up then paint my walls SEI winnies walls colors I am cited. GOt the plan for my NEW SCRAPPIN TABLE all drawn out will be here by Christmas (thank you santa) and my stools will be here and my new scrap room will loook AMAZING like real professional room! Let the stalking continue....

OUR challenge today on STM blog challenge was name the cartoon character we most resemble... I kept thinking RESEMBLE as if IN looks? hahaha her teeth look too pretty to be me right now.... She does kick some serious butt, is a princess and is in love with a big oager (love you honey) so me huh? ha!

I am stalking our mail man... we have a new one.. he does the route backwards from the other mail person we had.... I check out mail then have to walk to all the other neighbors houses to deliver THEIR mail that we get... then collect ours.. It is quite ridiculous. I am hoping he will get adjusted soon. I want to run out and search the truck and see if my box is in there... Until then I suppose me and the spider will sit on the porch waiting haha! I hate procrastination and want to get my projects done. I like to get it done then kick back then upload them when their due. I always have hated procrastination it drives me nuts and is one of my biggest pet peeves. THe only time I do procrastinate is when I do not want to do something. Im too excited about all this to procrastinate.
We got Bella a little flag so she can entertain us for hours saying INDIVISIBLE and the pledge of allegiance. It is hysterical. I MUST video it cuz she is so stinkin cute she gives us the instructions of Hand obers your hearts... I put mine on daddy's he puts his on mine.. SHE gets soo flustered YOU GUYS!!! DAT IS NOT how we say da pwedge of aweddent! ERYBODY hand Ober its owns hearts! sooo funny. OUR new party trick to show the neighbors.. HOpe you all had a lovely Thursday I got my fix from Greys Anatomy and from ER ( so happy the baby is ok) See ya tomorrow :)
