FINALLY FRIDAY!

LOVE these photos of Bella and her Papa last year on her birthday. She just loves her papa sooo much and wants to call and talk to him all the time. SHe is so funny and he is JUST A LITTTTLLEEE TINY BIT crazy about her too hahaha! This is from the IMAGINE CREATE SCRAP MARCH KIT (fancy pants). Where I am a design team member. I had alot of trouble cutting this paper cuz well, it is so pretty! I still have a few designs left to scrap.

I had a rockin COOOOOOL as Snow mail day yesterday. I GOT 36 sheets of the new BLING CARDSTOCK from THE CHALET. She also sent some basic grey I needed to finish a project. Laura YOU ARE A ROCKSTAR WOMAN! I JUST LOVE YA! SO glad I got it before it started stormin too! I would have died if that got wet!

Today I register BElla for school. I cannot believe my baby is big enough to go to school. 4K She is going to love it. I will love it too since I can get some things done, but Im gonna miss her runnin round here up my tail all day hahaha. We have since Im feeling better, had alot of funbeing home together. SHe is my scrappin buddy and loves to help me cook and do things. I have missed her so much while being sick and recovering from one thing after the other this passed year. I feel so bad that I was in bed with her here bored all day. IT doesnt mix well. SHe stayed in trouble. BUT the good thing is she got to spend alot of time with Grandma and she got to spoil her totally rotten. SHe is one of those kids that wants full attention and something to do. we have been goin to play group more since IM not havin to take the medication that makes me sick and not be out and about. I still have to be careful for the next several weeks but dont have to take it anymore so we are sooo happy. it is miserable to feel nauseaus and achey allt he time. I cant remember the last time I felt good that is pretty sad. BUT IT IS GETTING BETTER and IM SO GREATFUL FOR everyones prayers. It got real depressing for a while there. I sometimes think it is worse to feel good and get to do things and become almost a normal human out in society then whamo have another huge flair up and have to be secluded to home and feel crappy all the time and get depressed. IT is truly devastating to the entire family. Nothing is normal anymore everyone has to work harder. It is just not fair sometimes. I hate it worse for my hubby and Bella. BUt Im thankful I have both of them soooo much! This week we have gone To play group and the mall and actually and going again today weather permitting to play with our friends. It is good to be around my pals and so good for bella to get to play.

Speaking of weather I know alot of you are worried because we had so much bad weather yesterday. My phone was ringing off the hook. But my calls kept dropping in and out also. But we are ok. The really bad stuff that killed all the people is North East of us. That was so horrible and I feel so bad for all of those people.Keep them in your prayers.

I HAVE a really big publishing gig coming up I cant mention yet but found out about yesterday. 2 actually, 1 is an online e-zine yall will be hearing about very soon and its a BIG DEAL! IM SO EXCITED AND GRATEFUL TO THE OWNER OF THE SITE for picking me. SHE KNOWS WHO SHE IS and you will see some advertising on it soon. My mouth is still on the floor. The other one is rockin cool and Im really excited about especially because of WHICH pages it is that are getting published and where they are being published in the media. More news will come on that because I cant say yet and still working on getting details all worked out with the person and the company. DID I mention I get paid for this HOW COOL IS THAT! SO im praying it turns out well. THis is huge, bigger than anything I have done so far or ever THOUGHT I would be able to do and a DREAM come true.I need to go before I start crying again about it haha! So just keep your fingers crossed for me!Don't wanna jinx it.

This is the new Imagine Create Scrap KIT for this month. THis Fancy pants paper is super delicious and was almost too beautiful too cut. I really had a problem putting it through my trimmer.




I laid down at the park to get this shot of Miss priss. LOVE the way the light shines on her.
I added extra primas and extra bling . The chipboard letters, and fancy pants chipboard flowers were added as well. Everything else though you get in the kit.

SHe sent the whole line of 3 bugs tickled pink wiht the cardstock tags as well some cute cute little bling circles some flourishes chipboard and ribbon eyelets and mm vintage hip sticker letters!!! I will show you a photo later IM knee deep looking for Bellas birth certificate right now... I had all that stuff together and put up then when Hurricane katrina came we took all of it and put it in a box and taped it up. NOW guess what... WE can't find it AHHHH! SHe registers for School so I gotta find it. NO CLUE where it is. FOund mine and johns birth certificates and our marriage license etc. would think it would be with it. But nooooo. I have no clue . I have turned all these boxes inside out and gone through all kinda stuff and still NOPE not there. IT will turn up probably... when I dont need it anymore ;;SIGH:: well back to it.

All of you I believe know the battle we have been fighting for years now with lupus sle/nephritis. I found this an amazing story and am definitly voting for this girl. KNOWING what I KNOW about this illness as a fellow sufferer for her to get on that stage under those lights and do what she is doing is A MAJOR ASTOUNDING accomplishment. Leslie Hunt Advances to the Top 20 American Idol Finalists


The lupus community is cheering for Leslie Hunt of Chicago, Illinois as she advances to yet another round of competition on American Idol. Hunt is now one of the top 20 finalists. She will perform again on Wednesday, February 28, and the Lupus Foundation of America urges everyone to tune in and vote for Leslie as she seeks to become the next American Idol.

Hunt was diagnosed with lupus at a young age and includes on her American Idol profile that living with the autoimmune disease was the toughest obstacle of her life. Now 24, she has a new passion for life and is taking a proactive approach to overcoming the limitations she experienced while growing up with lupus.

Leslie is making everyone who is touched by lupus very proud as they watch her on national television. Her efforts are creating plenty of goodwill among all who are greatly impacted by lupus and who struggle on a daily basis with the debilitating and disabling consequences of the disease. PS: if you are a praying person even if your not please say a prayer tonight for Trevor and his family. (the co owner of treasures to scrap) Trevor is her son in law and is 30 years old and is in kidney failure. He is having complications and its not looking good. They are praying tonight for a miracle so please just remember them in your prayers please and also to bring comfort and peace to them. They are going through so much. It is so helpless to sit and watch someone you love sick and not be able to do anything. SO just keep them in your thoughts and prayers please. ALSO remember Traelyn and her daughter Gabby (we are having the auction for) they left for cincinatti yesterday I think it was or maybe this morning. This is another surgery for Gabby she is 4 years old. SO just remember all of them please.

MY head is still spinning from all the WONDERFUL news I had this weekend. Im so excited to work on these new teams. I have been hard at it today working on projects for March. I forget February is a short month so I gotta get done with it now.
TOday is my BROTHERS Birthday. YOU ARE OLD just want to be sure you know that bro. Bella has been singing happy birthday to you allllllllllllllllll dayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy lonnnnnnnnnnnng. HOpe you have a good one and make time to count those gray hairs OH WAIT you only have 10 fingers and 10 toes so dont bother. hehehehehhehe muuuuah.

I have a secret I have a secret. I can't tell it yet yall are gonna be excited!!!

BUT here is some news I CAN Share!! I got offered a design team position today for Treasures to Scrap. SO exciting! So many talented people over there and what a gorgeous site and store they have. Stop by and say hello if your in the neighborhood.
It has been a rather quiet day here. Have had a bad headache today. Think it is the weather. Going from 40 to 75 in a day doesn't help. Hoping this doesnt spur on some storms that are headed this way.

Tonight we had a wonderful chat at The Chalet with Karen Russel who created the narratives line for Creative Imaginations. She is so talented and the BE and Narratives lines are just gorgeous eye candy. I got some of the paper and have yet decided which photo to put on it cuz well... IT is just too pretty to cut. I will have to stare at it a bit longer before I can even think of cutting this paper. DO you have papers like that in your stash?

This will be a scrappy weekend. Got projects due and lots of mo jo flowing. SO stand back while the paper is flyin.

WAIT: The longest wait is right before the parade is to begin.

MONDAY was a gorgeous day

MONDAY was a GORGEOUS day. My friend Annette here in Mobile and her 2 kids asked if we would go with them to the parade downtown. We had never gone to the parades before so bella was so excited. I told her id see cuz well yall know with all the health stuff that has been going on I am not supposed to be out alot. But JOhn said since it is outside and not alot of people crammed in a building it isnt as bad.I was so happy to get out. IT ws pretty and not too cold. WE had soooo much fun. I know back home they dont do much for mardi gras but here they shut down everything and downtown is covered kinda lik new orleans. IT is a huge party and celebration. People everywhere parades all day. School is closed. Like nothing you see back home. The parade was fabulous.SO much more than I expected.The floats were BEAUTIFUL. I was not expecting such professional realistic floats I was thinking oh they willput streamers on a trailer NO YOU WONT BELIEVE the FLOATS omg they were amazing. We had lunch at Pickle fish resteraunt (a YUMMY pizza Place) it was so fun. Bella loved it. I almost teared up several times looking at how happy she was. We dont get to go out and do alot so it was treasured moment definitly. I got to meet Gretchen and we also hit if off immediatly. I had actually met her a couple of times just not had realized it. She is so funny. We divided up the loot and still had to much it covered the table. We have those serpentine things all over the house today bella has been throwing themplaying parade. She walks her babies around in their shopping buggy and throws beads at her stuffed animals. SO FUNNY! SHe had soo much fun and just kept talking about it all day. We will definitly be planning to go more next year. I hope all the family can come down and see some of this you all would love it! We wanted to go back today but after taking my meds last night I was just too nauseaus and exhausted from all the fun we had yesterday.THere are alot more people at it today too and didnt want to take the chance of catching anything. I slept alot today and just finished up some things here at home.
I didn't feel up to going to bunco tonight with Katrina. SORRY GIRL I slept till almost 7. Almost missed AMerican IDOL!! SO I totally wiped that one out. I will make it up to ya. I felt a little better then ate and well that didn't work out well it started all over. Hopefully we can get together and scrap this weekend. That was pretty fun! Well my hubby is ready to watch the movie. Bella is all snuggled down asleep and im still exhausted. I think we walked 10 miles. IT was fun though. I will never forget that day. GOnna scrap it soon got my photos back today and man some awesome shots!!!

FUN FUN FUN!!

Yesterday Was A GORGEOUS day. I felt more human than I have in a long long time. Still sore but not NEAR as nauseaus as I have been. HOPEFULLY Im done with all those days. We will know soon :)
It was Christophers Birthday so we went to his party at lavitra Park. Annette made the Cake herself! I was HIGHLY impressed. It was so cool. Looked like a tank and had an army man sitting on it. It had the field and the gravel the whole works. Bella said it tasted pretty yum yum too! SO way to go Annette! GIrl you sure know how to throw a party. We saw lots of our friends from playgroup and Bella had so much fun playing on the playground. SHe smiles bigger than I have seen in a while.

We came home. Watched Garfield, ate supper. John cleared some old files off my computer... old pictures and other just junk that has taken up space for too long. He fussed cuz I need to reorganize my files on there Yeah i know huney I will I promise. eventually haha! MUAH! I updated my gallery and added more creations to The Chalet. Chatted with my friends for a bit before I hit the hay.





















Today was another pretty day here in Mobile. We have had a good day today. Still no nauseau. Got some of my scrap room cleaned up and ready for my new cabinets and island to come in here. Hopefully it will warm up soon so we can paint. We have changed the cabinet style this is the 4th time because we keep finding a better deal. I cannot wait Im so excited. We also are about to start putting down the hard wood floors and renovating the bathrooms and making this more like home. I guess since it has been 2 years we figure we will be here a while so might as well get comfy.

I wanted to congratualte MICHELLE (vanilla) for winning layout of the week this week over at the CHALET. GIRL your page rocked outloud! Im so proud of you girly girl!

I hope it stays pretty and we stay feeling well like today we have alot of plans for this week and alot of photo ops. SO stay tuned. Im gonna get these and more photos printed up and the pages will be coming soon. Got alot of projects due and alot of pubs coming out! SO keep your eyes peeled!

GOOD MORNING! Just wanted to heads up everyone that there is a design team call at SCRAPBOOK CHALET. This is an amazing site with alot of talent. There are some familiar faces and MEGA talent over there. IT is a rockin site with LOTS Of chatter and lots of fun goin on. THe gallery is schmokin! IT is hard to keep up with all the amazing designs. COme check it out and put your hat in the ring. IT is an awesome site and it is lightening fast. The owner is super sweet and sends stuff out really fast. I won layout of the week the week before last and already got my prize!! Matter of fact got it last week!!!!! I was shocked and amazed at the box crammed full of basic grey goodies! Laura You rock! She also has a survivor contest going on. COme cheer for your favorite survivor!!

We are off to go play for a bit and then some scrap time. WHewwwheww Mardi Gras! Parades everywhere in Mobile today. Have some king cake with me folks.

I have alot of catching up to do on my blog! MAN, it has been busy the last few days. Had double dr. appts on valentines day. Don't really know anything just keep doing what Im doing, so that was fun huh...

I won a rak from Jana! I frequent her blog. SHe is sooooooooo rockin talented and the sweetest thing EVAH! SHe sent me all of the stuff you see in the photo below!!! I was about to fall out opening the box! There is a little mini album, a t shirt, the FLOWERS omgoodness the flowers, and and the express ons (rub ons) if you have never used them omgoodness they go on like butter! I got a bracelet too, you can see in the photo. but, Bella took off with that! (I know your surprised haha) "DADDY LOOK WHAT I GOT!" ROFL. she was so cute! I am sure Jana won't mind if I share!

I have been in Rak heaven here the last few weeks I got one from CHERYL that I still need to make my page with.. sorry Cheryl I will post it soon as I can get well and get it done! I haven't even made John and Bella a card or ANYTHING for Valentines day! I know so unlike me. BUt that is how horrible I have been feeling. Hasn't been fun! BUT IT IS GETTING BETTER!

John's Aunt Stephy and Uncle Evans were down in Mobile on business and came by to have suppr with us. I felt like sick, and I know I looked horrible but I really wanted to see them and well, it really did do me good and cheered me up some. THey are always so much fun and so sweet to us. Bella just fell in love with them. THis is the first time she has ever met them. We email them photos all the time and she reads my blog to see what is going on and stuff but nothing like getting a real hug!! Bella coudln't keep her hands off her and was complimenting her fingernails and jewelry. I made aunt steph count all her rings and stuff before she left to make sure the little booger didnt keep any souvenirs from their visit haha. SHe did convince Aunt Stephy to paint her fingernails though. (it didnt take much convincing!at all I am not sure which one had more fun) I had to get some photos for a scrapbook page. We dont get to see them often but they are soooo loved by us and us them! SO I have to add them to Bella's book!


MY 2 valentines!!! THERE is my entire heart in one photo!! I love these two so much!

I hope everyone had a great Valentines Day and TONIGHT IS AN AWESOME TV NIGHT! SURVIVOR/GREYS ANATOMY/ ER there is my line up! SO I am totally gonna be veggin out tonight in front of the tube. I have to watch it in the back because it is too graphic for Bella. John could care less so we got her the curious George movie to watch tonight. SO they will be entertained. SO what do you think is gonna happen on greys? I keep hearing rumor DENNY is coming back! I cannot wait to see how they do this. OK gotta go clean up the chicken and dumplings I made. Uncle Evans is a great cook and he gave me some tips on how to do my chicken and dumplings. MIne keep dissolving so I tried his method and so far so good. I hear no complaints! I felt pretty good this afternoon and ever since we talked the other night about making chicken and dumplings Bella has been on a chicken and dumpling mode. she keeps sayign but pleeeeaaseee. SO I felt some better today so I broke down and made them. They turned out OK but I think it was more I just wasnt feeling 100% than the recipe Know what I mean. OK REALLY gotta go now Bella is quiet and that equals a mess.

a little page I whipped up with the BLUSH BASIC GREY LINE I got for christmas. (THANKS MA) LOVE LOVE THIS PAPER. The colors are so rich. I took the 2 question marks in teh hardware kit and made my heart. glued them together and painted them.

the scan made the photo look green tinted... or maybe it is just me.. I feel green so maybe i see green.

SOME GOOD NEWS THOUGH.. Yall remember my freind Cathy... Pages for Cathy, CATHY.. well I talked to Sally and she told me when she went to her dr this last time THE dr asked her if she USED SOMEONE ELSES BLOOD!!!! HER TEST RESULTS WERE SO GOOD THEY DIDNT THINK THEY WERE HERS! Talk about a blessing. God is so good! Thank you all for continued prayers for her and her family.

Not too much going on today supposed to go to a little party with Bella, But I dont think IM gonna get to go. Too risky since so many kids will be there and you know where there are kids there are germs. Im hesitant to send Bella but I KNOW she is going crazy bored here with us and wants to have some fun. SO we are still tossing the idea around. I dunno we will see.
Watching qvc and hsn the scrapbooking shows today. getting some cool inspirations.
WOnt dare buy anything most of that stuff I have already or it is not priced good for what I need or you get 10,000 and I only need 900 (hahaha) Hope you have fun watching today as well.

LOVED the half time super bowl show. Even in the rain, Prince rocks! Jeanne and I decided purple rain was the perfect song for him to sing and YUP he sang it lol. I can remember seeing him in Jackson and my friend Melinda and Vickie on the 2nd row. We had so much fun. Then we went to the dock afterwards (yeah mama we went to the dock pick up your jaw) and he came there!!! He sang and danced and we had our picture made on his limo (like we were some kinda super stars I coudln't get over how short he was. Im talkin wizard of oz "WE ARE THE LOLLIPOP kids" short. AND HE HAD on these HIGH HEEL BOOTS liek 2 inch heels and he was STILL SHORT. SHORTER THAN ME!!!!!! BUT he knows he can sing and dance and play that dang piano mannn! HE had some BIG OL bison head fellers walkin round with him. He looked like a kid up against them. They made the wwf wresters look tiny. these guys arms were bigger than my waist (at that time now it would be a friggin miracle if anything was as big as my waist) ANyway that was rockin cool. AHHH to be that young and SKINNY again. I need to find those pictures. That woudl make a cool page. I still have my No fraidy cats welcome THE DOCK t shirt somewhere around here. Hate they closed that place. man we used to have fun there in the summer on the boats.

Got my hair cut this week. It is falling out and looked awful. ITs all diffent lengths and wont do nothing. So she cut it REALLY short so you cant notice the fallin out part as much. so I have like the REALLY short doo. NOT as short as Cathy Z but about an inch longer. It looks so much better though.But has the someone scared the crapp out of me look to it where it stands up everywhere. and when I wake up it looks that same as whenI go to bed haha!NOT alot I can do to it.

had a quiet day at the Jones residence today. Had major headache and still all pukified (is that a word?) but it lets up just in time to start over again huh. Be glad when this is over and I can get this all straightened out. ahh its not too bad it could be worse i guess. SO many are alot worse.

Finished up my page on the JONES' CHALLENGE. Yall are gonna love this new challenge we/I am doing. Its hot. DId some rockin cool techniques on this page.

I guess everyone is back from CHA and all tired out. Not alot happning here. bella is crashed out snoring. IM about to go see if I can challenge her to a sleep off.
Bet Id win. when she is ready to get up she jumps on my bed singing happy buffday tooo ewweeee. SHe is too much. Love every second of her.
Mardi gras is in full swing down here. we have parades goin on everywhere. I hope to at least get to go to one before they are over to get some cool photos.

Not much going on here today. SCRAPPIN. Had a sinker last night and got sick sick sick. SO, you know if you have been throwing up and stuff, how your sore and all the next day... yeah. not fun. I thought this med was working so good. Tami and I were just talking about it. How much better I am doing with the nausea. I did eat pizza yesterday though and I havn't had anything rich like that so that could be it. But anyway nuff bout that.

Something has really been bothering me the last few days and I have to vent guys. SO bear with me. I really really want your feed back on this. I want to know if you agree or disagree or if you don't give a rip. Especially the scrapbookers that read my blog that like me freelance and do this on more than just a personal basis.
So read my rant and let me know your view on this please. Is it not a big deal would you not care or would you be upset as well?

I have a question for you guys that has been bothering me. HOW WOULD YOU FEEL.. if someone took something off your blog or say one of your galleries. Then put it in a very viewable place without you knowing about it? say, You didn't say they could post your work there? I read a blog yesterday about a girl that a LSS (in a different state) copied her photos and printed them (YEAH I said the same thing my Jaw dropped) it was her wedding photos at that! WHEN she called the LSS and confronted them (it was in another state but a fellow PEA from the veggie board, Recognized her photo and said something about it to her) THe people at the lss were very ugly and said they could do that because once it is published in a magazine or in a viewable magazine or any other media, They could do what they wished with it!!!!!! (not exact quote but something to that effect) I COUDLNT BELIEVE THAT! THERE are copyrite laws for photographs people! [I didnt know this but someone I used to work for did know this and told me about it. SHe is a very good photographer so I know that to be true.] Photographs once you take them ARE YOURS. PERIOD. That is why YOU CANNOT TAKE professional photos and print them at say wal mart or wal greens without the person who took the photos permission. (and besides that it is just TACKY!) Any way I felt really bad for the girl. I know I have had a recent run in with someone posting my work (yeah my page and altered items) without permission and the original person that ONE of those items, I had copied WITH THE Persons knowledge that I copied it FOR PERSONAL USE AND AS A GIFT FOR SOMEONE IN MY FAMILY That wouldn't be posting it in a public forum.(that is important people IF YOU SCRAPLIFT SOMETHING PLEASE GIVE THE ORIGINAL PERSON CREDIT FOR THE DESIGN!!!!! THAT IS JUST TACKY AND WRONG AND MAKES YOU END UP LOOKING STUPID) That person saw it and of course recognized it and called me on it (which I dont blame her I WOULD HAVE MADE HEADS ROLL MAN.She was very very nice don't get me wrong) But what if wer had not been friends already. What if it had been just a page I saw somewhere or a design or altered item I saw somewhere and said HEY that is cool... AGAIN, Thank GOD she knows me and knows I would never do that to her ... but also HOW STUPID would I be to put something I copied I mean down to the flowers THE ONLY THING DIFFERENT were the photos!!!!!! Then post it somewhere that I KNOW SHE WILL SEE IT. She knew I wouldnt do something like that and suspected that someone had done this without my knowledge.
SHE WAS RIGHT. IT is very hurtful and yes IM FURIOUS.

Then I go to a website and see people not just one. Posting pages that have different photos but the design is exactly like mine. NOTHING extra added nothing in different places or anything. IT IS OBVIOUS if you saw my work that it was exactly like some of my pages. I looked in the part where you post the products and give CREDIT IF YOU SCRAPLIFTED.... NOTHING. Not a word not even a listing of the products used.

SO I know how my friend felt. BUt the person that copied my work (not just one it seems to be a pattern on that board I dont think but 2 people there have original work the rest are copies) They are NOT friends of mine. SO I know they didn't just say OH i like this page I think I will copy it. which maybe they did have that thought BUT THEY POSTED IT IN A PUBLIC FORUM. MAKING IT LOOK AS IF IT IS THEIR WORK and DESIGNS. SO as a word of warning to others. THINK BEFORE YOU POST THINGS that either YOU DONT HAVE PRIOR PERMISSION. or 2. YOU COPIED SOMEONES DESIGNS. Scraplifting happens and I feel it is a compliment..ussually.I DONT CARE that people copy my pages I think it is awesome and a compliment. SO don't get me wrong on that. BUT POSTING THEM IN FORUMS AND IN STORES AND SAYING IT IS YOUR ORIGINAL IDEA.... I DONT THINK SO. WHEN IT iS FOR PERSONAL USE FINE (am I clear on this lol).. But dont go posting it on boards and in stores and places on their WALLS when you copied someone elses designs WITHOUT GIVING THEM CREDIT FOR IT. That is lying about your work and KARMA WILL GET YOU FOR IT.

OK Im off my soap box. This isnt happening to just me but many of my friends in the industry and IM SURE to alot of you reading this post. Anyone that is my friend knows I don't care that you copy my work I AM FLATTERED. That is a HUGE compliment to me. But give me credit for the design. I dont use sketches I sit and come up with this in my own little brain. I may get inspiration from others BUT I GIVE THEM CREDIT AND TELL THEM that THEY SOOO INSPIRE ME and THAT I MADE this and such WITH THEIR inspiration. Ussually mine looks nothing like theirs when Im done rofl.

OK Im really getting off my box now. SO reply here and TELL ME WHAT YOU THINK. What are your views on this? AM I being ridiculous? should I not be upset? What would you do? How woudl you handle this? has this happend to you? what did you do? I really want to know. Thanks

Happy Thursday... Daisy and Waldo... Rodeo?

I don't think this is EXACTLY what Creative Imaginations had in mind when they decided to come out with a RODEO line of paper and embelishments. BUT, who could resist how PERFECT this was for these photos.I am sure you all have pages that JUST HAVE to be done. WEll, This would be one of those pages. This past Christmas while at my husband's sister's house (HI LIZ!) we noticed Daisy Riding Waldo like a horse. THey all say OH YEAH she does that all the time. The ferrett was LITERALLY sitting on the Dogs back riding him around the house. Waldo (the dog) was not Exactly thrilled to be the victim err I mean Horse nahh I mean, WEll He just doesn't care to much to be her personal Limosine service.
Daisy being the little DIVA that she is.. cannot understand the harm in him Totin' her around all day. SO anyway.. This was just a fun page I did for laughs and for my Sister in laws Scrapbook album. I am sure we will all look back on this for years to come and get a good chuckle from Daisy and Waldo.

Looky what I found while scouring the internet and some other blogs:http://organizedhome.com/printable/ this is a place you can print out your own organizer sheets! HOW FRIGGIN COOL IS THAT!!!! you can print off all kinds of planner pages to keep you all organized.

SO to inform my family all at once (and friends) so I don't have to make 10 thousand phone calls and email sends. Here is the latest from the dr. I went today. Dont know much still. just that Im still sick and I still have a freaky rash. I have good days bad days as usual. The medicine is making me sick as a dog but we knew that cuz all the chemo family med things do that. I can't be around any one sick or sniffling. I still have swollen areas and sore as crapp joints. They gave me some news meds (yeah to add to the collection I need to start alterin those bottles huh) and I have 2 appts On Valentines day with an infection disease dr (sounds freaky dont it) and back to my Rheumatologist. Hopefully by then my test results will be back and we will know more. SO as of right now DONT really know anything. They will figure out what this is He thinks I did have shingles originally but it migrated to something more chicken pox like and in that family ( did you know it had a family?) but it was too wide spread to be shingly... It wont go away so he is saying it is systemic so he said to expect some aggressive therapy to get rid of it. SO I still know what? that I feel like crapp and everything hurts and Im swoll up like a puffer fish. But we dont know EXACTLY why. SO hope that answers all the questions. Thanks for the continued prayers.

CHA favorite releases?

I CAN FINALLY post my tray and this wall hanger. This is the tray and wallhanger that is in the SCRAP THAT MOMENT / SCRAPPY CHICK booth number 543 at CHA. I had some other things there too I hear, but I had been wanting to put this up for a while but was didn't until after CHA. Tell me what you think.

Did YOU see anything at CHA interesting? So,What were your favorite releases at CHA? I have to say Im totally in love with the Queen and company buttons and the ribbons. I have turned into a button fanatic as of late and cannot get enough of the cute ones! WHAT A MUST HAVE. BUt also have you seen the new line from scrappy chick? Heidi Jones did a fantastic job designing this paper. I cannot wait to hear how they did at CHA. You an see it online at www.scrapthatmoment.com.

a little therapy for the soul

IM PRAYING FOR SUNSHINE tomorrow so I can re photograph this layout.... The scanner just will not let it be bright and pretty when you have popdots on a page. ANYWAY.. it got COOOOOOOLD down here last night (what is that about ain't it supposed to be warm in Mobile?!) and with all my recent ailments (violin playing softly my heart is bleeding for ya) my hands and joints were hurting. Yeah I know so HOW NANCY did you make this page if your hands were hurting. WELLLLL Im glad you asked that question. The dr said you need to move them and well typing and scrapping are the best exercise for my fingers I can think of. (cuz I really want shapely girly fingers so I gotta keep em exercised...whateverrrrrr!) but most of all IT IS A distraction. As I wait for the medication from hell (that turns me from my ussually charming self bwahahaa to a Total witch with a b in 20 minutes) to start taking effect. (therefore NOW YOU KNOW WHY... I hide in my scrap room or in my bed so much....because it makes EVERYTHING and EVERYBODY get on my last nerve....) THis time I instead hid in my scraproom. I wanted to scrap soooo bad and was just playing with this paper and I dunno if it was the medication or my creative brain...(shut up jeanne haha) but we will go with creative brain ok! I started seeing water, waves, and splashes in the designs. I LOVE this photo of my horrifically rotten toddler (aren't they still toddlers at 3? even if they act like teenagers?) she was chasing my nephew around the pool..ok we were pushing her in her floaty ring but she thought she was chasing him around the pool.. saying "come meya gwaysen... sooo's eyes can SOOOOT EWE" add the southern accent to it when you say it... (is that not the cutest?) so anyway... ta daaa a page was born. I love the smile on her face. It is a TOTAL giggly grin smile. Look how her nose is wrinkled (mine does that too) we all I think have that when we get really tickled about something. I had fun doing this page and it got my mind off of it for a little while (as Im pouting cuz I can't go to Annaheim to cha dadgummit but I keep thinking "CHICAGO CHICAGO stay healthy and go to chicago" so hopefully I can see ya there guys) I did cut out the paisleys for this page.. Yeah they dont look so great but geez my hands are hurting give me a break. I was lucky to do the page haha! I didnt add the glitter to the letters I cheated that is called K AND CO TWINKLE TYPE it is already glitzy and sparkly aint it cool?! and be sure and notice the amazingly ROCKIN ULTRA COOOOOL SWAROVSKI CRYSTALS that I got from "It's not just scrap" (thank you ladies yall rock) THIS is the most ultra cool bling IN THE UNIVERSE!!!!
WHO all is droooling over some of the new stuff coming out at cha? DO you all hate that blame bird as much as I do? Im sorry to who designed that I really am but I just dont get it. I promise if I change my mind I will post it but I just dont like it. We are not gonna do another JONES CHALLENGE yet until after the first week in February matter of fact probably not till around the 10th. With cha going on and everyone is gone (but me...... did I mention that already????) the other Jones girls are on their way to Annaheim.. (without me did I mention it?) Im sure they will go stalk the SEI booth for me and roll around in some Queen and company for me and and tell all of them to go look at my pretty tray on their video and and well... so who else is glued to the tv to see who is gonna be the NEXT AMERICAN IDOL. I never thought Id be so interested in really bad karaoke. Some of these people you have to wonder did they lose a bet soemwhere to actually be on television dancing and singing likethey are? They cannot POSSIBLY THINK what they are doing is singing. YES It is easy for me to judge since I have such a GORGEOUS singing voice,,, I will pause for the hysterical laughter that my brother is probably erupting in at this moment, but come on people. Makes you wonder if they "had"(I say had cuz after they watch the show they wont be friends anymore probably) a great friend (such as me) to totally convince them they NEEED to go audition. "YEA you can sing. I swear if i close my eyes (and my ears) and tilt my head to the north on mondays, YOU SOUND JUUUUST like prince (being attacked by a ravenous squirrel) I have a BRILLIANT idea, you need to quit your job.. take your life savings and go audition for American idol. HEY I heard elvis had no formal musical training. YOU SHOULD SOOO DO IT!

I felt sorry for them until Common sense told me that they had to sign releases stating they could publish them singing or whatever they were doing onto the tract that made the tv cut. They even sang other songs while the producers taped them. Im sure the producers kept a straight face while they discussed furtherment of their career with them. BUT, what got me was the ones that ran out cursing and screaming and tyranting such.. then went back and sang the OTHER songs they showed clippits of them performing (badly). COME ON. THEY JUST SAID YOU SUCKED so ughm LETS HEAR MORE!!!!

Bella went to Katie Ann's Birthday party saturday with Ms katrina, Cannon and Kellery. SHe had so much fun. She sang Happy birthday the REST of the day! Tomorrow is play group so I know she will be having alot of fun there too. Thank you GOd for such good friends. I know Bella is bored out of her mind here with me. John and Mom try to play tea party etc.. but it just isnt the same as playing with other children. TAKE PHOTOS FOR ME hehe. YAll rock I owe ya big time!
ALso shout out to Scott. Jeanne's son. Praying his poison sumac is better soon, He has it soooooooo bad and is miserable to say the least. (and I know that is making Jeanne a nervous wreck) when your kid is miserable.. you are miserable.. SO im praying yall are back to normal soon. Hard to believe I can't wait to hear Mobile Alabama Sucks rofl! *(but thats how I know he is feelin good he picks with me)

TO bead... or not to bead...

I know alot of you have already read this post on the site.. but to my family and FRIENDS and the ones that didnt know about the FUN WE HAD today. (Im rolling my eyes) get ready for what seemed like an I love lucy episode gone wrong. that went on... forever ... EVERYONE IS OK.. NO animals or that many kids were injured (haha( while this story took place . Hubby and I are speaking and laughing about this now. SeE he was so sweet yesterday. THe lord knew today would happen... He gave him a "one up" so I would be able to laugh about this so soon after....




Bella and I had a pretty good day.. we were rockin along, I have been cleaning house and dragging her OUT OF everything she is getting into. You know, normal Bella stuff for her. We played go fish and barbies, scrapbooked and etc. I was just off the phone with the insurance co for the SECOND time of being on neverending hold, just plugged my phone in for the battery to charge so it woudln't go dead. I go and Im cleaning the kitchen washing dishes loading the dishwasher getting ready to cook supper. When I hear... SCREAMSSSSSSSSSSSS. Im going what the... Its bella. its the: OMG!!!! IM GONNA DIE! IM IN PAIN THE world is falling on my head scream. Im thinking, while running, OH great what did she break. She was screaming. I look at her, no blood, she isnt on fire.she didnt pee her pants ... I get on my knees "what baby? what is it? I dont see anything?" no glass. no fires. no anything toppled over she finally gets out in that snuffuded cry and talk at the same time voice.. "I TUCK A BEAD up my NOSE." My first reaction"why in the world did you..." but then IM thinking YOU WHAT? THEN.....OH grrreat. (The bead is one of those if you are familiar with them "pony beads" as my mother calls them) So I SAY "Let mommy see. which side?" SO I see it. It's up there man, I feel. It is right at. where the bone part starts, above the cartlidge part, way up *(you just felt your nose didnt you hehe. I did too) anyway on the right side. I said "is it on both sides?" she says "NO MOOMMY JUST ONE." Ok I look and yeah just one. I tried the, hold the other side and get her to blow.. and nothing .I tried the tweezers" OH NO she wouldnt be part of that... adn me with a sharp pointy instrument pointed at my kids face and eyeballs and nose while she is screaming kicking and squirming AINT A GOOD COMBO... SO I call My husband. He is stammering with " errr ughmms" I siad "OK! RIGHT NOW. YOUR NOOO HELP" I was getting angry cuz he was like NO DONT take her to the dr yet.. Im like W T HECK? YESSS I AM!!!!!... what Im supposed to JUST LEAVE IT? UGHM NO!!!!!!!! (he was on his way home from florida by the way and Im having a flash back from when he got roast in his throat caught and he refused for 5 hours to go to the ER and we had ot sit with the LOVELY Night crew in the ER for HOW MANY HOURS?????) * IN HIS DEFENSE NO HE wasnt meaning to just leave it. He was thinking try to get it out other ways, before spending a million dollars at the dr for them to get it out.. but she was screaming, I was stressed and she wouldnt let me touch it or her so the best thing in my opinion to do was go in... but anyway) I say OH HECK NO well that aint what I siad but... UGHMM NO IM going NOW to DR OFFICE WHILE OPEN! SO I say YOU ARE NO HELP I NEED SOMEONE WITH A M.D. BY THEIR NAME. I gotta go. bye. So I call my dr office. They(amazingly) put me right through.. something about when you say, kid bead and up nose all togehter...THEY rush you through to the nurse. So ... she says... can she breathe? I stop and look at the phone .. Im thinking ughmmm? I wouldnt be on the phone with YOU now ID BE ON MY WAY TO ER or with 911 if that the case.. but instead I say "yes and that I have tried the normal routine to get it out and it is IN there.way up in there.. so she said "COME ON IN NOW before the dr goes home..." GREAT. So I change bellas clothes OK SO SUE ME She had on more pj's and stuff. We are still working the potty training!! I look OH GOD like heck with 2 hockey sticks.. I had been cleaning everything BUT ME... so I throw on more clothes I attempt to brush my hair and I m like OH well Ill just have to go. give up . so we zoom on (and I get to the car.. HUBBY HAD NOT put the car seat BACK TOGETHER IN THE CAR... ITS POURING RAIN. IM fuming mad IM so angry .... ( yeah I know he just forgot but at the time, I was really really mad cuz I asked him to put it back in there several times and he forgot THAT IS WHY I TELL YOU SO MANY TIMES DEAR CUZ YOU FORGET!!!) so anyway.... I had to run the pad through the straps and put it all back together...(we are still potty training so you do the math we had to wash it) THAT WAS FUN TRYING TO FIGURE THAT OUT.....and do that while its raining and kid screaming, cuz its raining and it is cold and the situation just SUX! I get it back INTO the back seat, stick my knee in it set forward with my weight and OMG no. not now, please, no.. KNEE feels like it is dislocating. it really ISNT dislocating but feels like it when IT starts to pop... so Im holding my breath put the blet loop through the back. Im crying in pain and anger Bella is screaming (we are in the garage,!! she isnt getting wet. I dont know why she was crying. cuz it was raining? probly ....just dramatic overture to the entire freakin situation!!!!. SO ,s he stops. Dead in her tracks, Looks at me and says angelically "MOMMY WHY YOU CWYIN. I SOwwy i TUCK A BEAD UP MY NOSE." "OMGOSH BABY, NO ITS NOT THAT, IT'S OK, JUST, COME ON. GET IN. SO I SUCK IT UP try to pop my leg back, get her in the *&^%$# car and in the *&^% seat. Off we go... get to the dr office.
By this time, she is fine. cuz, well IT doesnt hurt. It is just in there. I tell the nurse. "THis is Isabella, with the bead in her nose... and they say "AHH ok go this way" ( I tell the nurse "BY THE WAY, I have had shingles and just now getting over it I need to be.... and she finished the sentence "AWAY FROM BABIES AND PREGNANT WOMEN!!!!"" with the look of horror on her face. I siad "look, it was an emergency! I HAD to come, she siads "OH I KNOW, its ok. I just feel bad, for you. (I guess my face is purple it is so red from the fact IM in pain and just sooo angry and just well .......stressed) so we go to triage, e.r. in the back. Away from babies and pregos. So bella is telling all the nurses "I HAVE A BEAD IN MY NOSE "and she says "hey whats wrong with that little girl? does she have beads in her nose" I say "NO HONEY, JUST YOU!" Of course they all think it is hysterical but for me the novelty has WAYYYYYYY worn off at this point. The nurse comes in and looks at it says "yeah we can get it blah blah whatever" we are talking she said "OH ok they wrote on here you have ....shingles" I siad "NO, I HAD, them. Am getting over them,about 4 days so far. she looks at my ear and said "this one is still open you realise?" I am like "yeah, I know" she said "ok put a band aid on it while you are here"... I am thinking ....that makes it all better? so no one will get it or something?. Just stick a band aid on it? .. wonder if the bead will fall out of her nose if I put a bandaid Over her nose like a pore strip or one of them YOU SNORE TOO LOUD things...
So anyway the dr comes in (snickering) they take the loopy thing and get the bead out.. (we are HOLDING HER DOWN KICKING AND SCREAMING)

THEN Bella stops crying, looks up at the dr and says" CAN I HAVE THAT BACK PLEASE?" and we bust out laughing cuz it was so matter of fact. she takes it from him and Im going EWW lets wash it....... and YOUR HANDS.. I wrap it in a towel and she announces to the NURSE the dr and the rest of the dr office "MY MOMMY IS GONNA PUT THIS IN A SCRAP BOOK FOR TO GIVE TO ME" (they learn quick you save EVERYTHING for the scrapbook huh?) so Yeah we will "scrap that moment"

NOW after I got home, I finished washing dishes. STARED NAILS through my husband for a little bit, informed him he is cooking dinner.. Ok asked him to please cook the spaghetti!!! IM hiding in my scrap room getting stuff done catching up on posts, and gonna wait for American Idol. AND I might just go drink something alcholic, but IF HE DARE SPEAK right now OR BELLA mention a BEAD.... I will leave him alone. but with her, tomorrow tooo! SO IM in my room now, (My cave as he calls it) Drinking a glass of lemonade (no alcohol though .. I really can't because of this medication. but dang, it would be nice rofl)

IM SURE that your kid or neighbors kid or SOEMONE you knows kid has stuck a something up their nose (rubber snake even? yeah just ask my sister in law about that one roflmbo) The nurse said once a week at LEAST they pull stuff out of a kids nose or ear or whatever. (i dont wanna know any wahtevers) I feel bad cuz I KNOW my mother is gonna SPAZZ totally out because she gave bella the beads. Then she is gonna say WERE YOU WATCHING HER.. but you know we sit and STARE AT HER in a BUBBLE all day 24 hours a day.. SHE IS NOT a mischivious kid that GETS INTO EVERYTHING (moma knows this for fact now she kept her 7 days for me while I was unconscious with shingles WHICH UNCONSCIOUS almost sounded like a good option there while it was happning...) BUT anyway... Ma I have already thought of all those reactions... for you, so go ahead... I REST WELL RIGHT NOW.. KNOWING IM dangling mY MOTHERLY WAND that I got when I gave birth to her over her little NO BEAD in nose having head, Granting her the magical power to have NOT ONE but 2 JUST LIKE HER so she will get blessed with a challenge as of such I had today. I LOVE YOU BABY and when your little one some day sticks I dunno AN ELEPHANT up its nose and you are freaking completly out as your ROBOT probably LAZER BEAMS it out (cuz that is how in my idea of the future it will probably work) YOU will sit back and grin as YOUUUUUUU stare darts through Your husband (yes you will have one of them BEFORE YOU have a child since I waved this wand) PLEASE! YOU will remember YOUR MOM put the curse on YOU like My father did onto me... THIS second, I do LOVE YA...

LUCKY DAY

My sweet hubby went to hobby lobby for me to get the adhesive. WELL the one we have here Is SOOOOOO helpful (not) they were out of course and he asked the lady when they would get more. OF COURSE she had no clue... they never do at this one. THe one across the bay they are so nice and helpful. This one ELSUCKO's. BUT he found the new christmas Basic grey not the fruit cake but the DASHER basic grey pack. HE found it on another isle and said Isnt this something you like I said UGHM YEAH I dont have that one. SO he got it. When he got to the check out IT WAS HALF OFF! whehewhew. SO I called my sister in law liz. To see if she happened to be near the hobby lobby in Mississippi (that one is gorgeous it rocks) and she was. She went in they had 5 packs of the adhesive I wanted (all at half price) so she got all of them for me YIPEEEEEEEEE! IT has been a lovely day in the karma section. I feel good. The shingles/chicken pox whatever are almost gone and I feel so much better. AND I am gonna be in the scrap that moment VIDEO at the SCRAPPY CHICK BOOTH at CHA! My tray I made and a photo IM SO EXCITED. I have a few things in the magazine also but the video Im so excited about! SOooooo I may not get to go (due to my health, enjoy my ticket yall! lol) but I will be there in spirit! AND A HUGE SHOUT OUT TO MY pal DI HICKMAN and LATONYA BOIKE they are gonna be at CHA (lucky dogs) take pics for me!!!! I will see you in chicago!
